They just don’t know which way is up. Or, more likely, they don’t care. This is just more clear evidence that politicians will literally say or do anything to get their power, to get elected.

First, they claim

But Dole’s lack of assertiveness, her hesitation and changed positions on issues like an outlying landing field near a national wildlife refuge and offshore oil drilling, her failure to use her position on the banking committee to more effect in averting the current economic crisis and her too-frequent absence from the state have distanced her from her constituents.

Then, in an e-mail, they claim

“But making history means taking down powerful red-state incumbents like Mitch McConnell, Elizabeth Dole, and Roger Wicker.”

Well, is she this all-powerful senator, or is she a weak-minded, ineffective senator? And yes, the DSCC CAN have it both ways because most people just don’t care. To be honest, there’s not a whole lot of difference between Dole and whoever is running against her with a “D” if you ask me. Both of them absolutely LOVE big government and want to expand it and spend lots and lots and lots of money. Oh, not THEIR money, of course, but money they take from people who work.

Mess with both of them and vote for Chris Cole. He’s a Libertarian. And he WON’T spend more money that YOU earn.
