Aristocratic Despotism

For some time now, I’ve been searching for a word to describe the current government in America. It’s not a republic, not by any means. It’s FAR from a democracy. And it’s not quite socialism or communism, although it does have a lot of features of both of those. I think Alan Keyes may have hit upon it with “aristocratic despotism.” We are certainly ruled by a ruling class. They always know better than us peons. They are always forcing us to do things for our own good, or for the good of “society.” And in case you didn’t notice, nearly all of the rulers in Washington are obscenely rich. Yes, I think aristocratic despotism is quite an accurate description of today’s government.

Can that be changed? Maybe. Alan Keyes thinks that perhaps it can.

Before you vote this fall for the lesser of two evils, please do go read this. I’ll warn you — it’s LONG for a post on the web. It will take some effort to understand. But I promise you it’s worth it. Don’t go read it now — go read it when you’ve got a little time to spend. It will be worth your time.

Homeschooling in North Carolina

Is up by 4%. Gee, why do you think that might be? It is possible that more people are finally realizing what a total cess pool government-run schools have become? I think it might be.

I’m very happy to see so many people actually taking responsibility for their own children. I’m glad to see that there are more people who realize that sending your children to government schools is extremely harmful to your children. If you have any values or morals that differ from, for example, radical homosexuals or islam, your children will be confused in government schools.

And I’m glad to see that more people are actually making the sacrifices needed to actually teach children instead of throwing them to the government where children are simply not taught to learn. Good job, homeschoolers of North Carolina.
