Exercise for People over 40:

Begin your routine by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side.

With a 5-lb potato sack in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, and then relax.

Each day you’ll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer.

After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-lb potato sacks. Then try 50-lb potato sacks and eventually work up to where you can lift a 100-lb potato sack in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute. (I’m currently at this level.)

After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each of the sacks.

A few items caught my eye the past day or so. What do you think?

Did you know that in some places, if you call a member of the American Royalty (that’s a judge) something they don’t like, that you can be jailed for 6 months. Seriously. Call a judge a name and go to jail. I wasn’t aware that insults, especially to alleged public servants, were serious crimes. I guess I was thinking about that “other” America where there’s freedom of speech.

Supposedly this guy pulled down a girl’s shirt. More importantly, what I’d like to know is why a 17-year old girl was “outside” a Buffalo Wild Wings at 1:13am. Anyone? Mom? Dad?

Maybe I’m just paranoid, but am I the only one who thinks it’s incredibly suspicious that the FBI started investigating IndyMac only after the bank failed? It’s just coincidence, I’m sure. It’s got nothing to do with consumer confidence in a corrupt government.

We just passed cost of government day. You did realize that 100% of ALL the money you earned so far this year was to support government, right? Seriously, just think about that. Every single dollar you earned so far this year was to pay for government. Wow. This government really stinks, you know?

And yes, the Democrats still despite freedom. They strongly support high gas prices and will say and do ANYTHING to ensure gas prices get and stay as high as possible. Sorry, that IS what Democrats stand for.
