The government in England is preparing for “Carbon Rationing.” Yes, the adherents to the religion of global warming are going to use government force to ensure you don’t use more than what Those Who Know Better determine is the “appropriate” amount of carbon. Oh, they’re not going to do it now — because they don’t think people will like it now. But they WILL do it soon.
There is no word whether or not breathing will be covered, but it seems likely. If you breathe “too much,” then you produce “too much” carbon. Therefore, it’s only logical that the rations will cover the number of breaths you take in a day and how much gas you expel from the other end. No word on how they’re going to monitor the amount of gas you expel, but you can be sure they will be able to create a government agency to monitor that, too. And if you expel “too much,” government will certainly jail you — they have no other choice.
I wonder what it would be like to live in freedom and have the freedom to believe whatever religion I wanted, without government intervention?

So, if you are a parent in Wake County, you have no idea where your child will be in a few months. In fact, you have no idea if you are allowed to decide where your child will be. Why? Because the self-appointed education Tzar, Judge Manning, has disagreements with the North Carolina Courts.
In short, Judge Manning has tried to run education. He believes that he alone can make all educational decisions. He gets to decide how much money will be spent, and he gets to decide where the money will be spent. He gets to decide where and when your children will attend school, and he even gets to decide if the parents get to have ANY say in the matter. In other words, he is, according to him, the total emperor of education in North Carolina.
However, the North Carolina courts don’t completely agree with him. So while you’re working hard to pay taxes, your taxes are being spent by the courts and the government education system to fight one another over who gets more control over your children. And no, parents don’t enter into the equation — except to fund the legal battles.
What a complete and total disaster. Someone give me any reason that government has anything to do with education? It is a total loss with zero redeeming qualities left.
