If you want a clear example of how twisted our system of government has become, go read the California Supreme Court ruling regarding marriage. I’ll warn you, it’s 172 pages (I read it), and it’s disgusting.
To sum it up, they take 172 pages to discover a “right” for gay marriage in their Constitution. One of the reasons it takes them 172 pages is because if you read the Constitution, you won’t find it. In fact, you won’t find anything CLOSE to “All persons, fruits, and lunatics residing in the state can marry any person, animal, or other object they desire.” But the California Supreme court claims it’s there.
In reality, that Constitution does have clearly defined rights. Unfortunately, they are listed as rights that people have, instead of listing government rights. A Constitution that lists individual rights without that phrase, “All other rights are reserved to people” means that the government rules its people (and not the opposite, which is necessary for a free country).
In fact, in that insane decision rendered by the California Supreme Court, where they claim to undertake the Constitutionality of the issue, they actually find this new right inside the right to marry, which is inside the right to privacy — none of which are, of course, actually IN that Constitution. In fact, the decision is so incredible that they spend page after page explaining that marriage IS between a man and a woman — and always has been, according to California law, Constitutions, history, and everything and everywhere else!
But of course, none of that matters. The reason these “rulings” are often referred to as “decisions” is because that’s what they are — personal decisions of the black-robed rulers. They’re not based on history, law, or more importantly, on the Peoples’ decisions in how they want to run the country. The judges make up their mind what is right and wrong, and NO ONE shall ever challenge them at any time. The People have no say in how this government operates.

Ah, the case in Texas with the LDS keeps getting more interesting. It seems now that I was more right than I thought. “New” evidence (not actually revealed by the government) shows that some adults were unlawfully detained by the Texas government. Oh, and because of that unlawful detention, the state now claims custody over the children that were born to some adults while being detained by the government. And laws? Oh, no laws were broken. No trials were held. Not one person has been found guilty of a thing. And in this particular part of the case, no one even ALLEGES that any laws were broken.
So, do you think anyone will get in any trouble for the unlawful detention? Do you think a single person will be punished for taking adults, detaining them, and claiming their children as property of the state without ANY crime being committed, much less ANY due process? My bet is not a single person will face any punishment and in fact all government bureaucrats, who are blatantly WAY out of control, will actually get raises next year for “doing their job.”
What a horrible, horrible system. I honestly believe that the absolute worst government bureaucrats are those who work for child “welfare” or “protective” services. They are scum. The claim to want to help children, but that’s just not what they do. They violate the law. They trample the Constitution with total impunity. They get paid by taking money from people who actually work. And they are completely and totally above all laws, anywhere. If you see them come to your house and you have children, you either flee the state, or you will never see your children again. Go ahead, try and work in the system — as these people are doing — and watch what happens. Your life is over when the evil, horrible bureaucrats of child services step foot on your property. And there is no law or protection that can save you.

You do understand that America is close to a communist government, right? And you do realize that nearly all of the ideas that Obama supports (and most of McCain’s) are ideas that would promote and advance communist ideals, right? And despite how they might make you feel (the candidates and the ideas), you DO realize that much of the problems in China can be attributed to the Chinese Communist government, right? And no, I’m not talking about Bush’s Earthquake & Hurricane-o-matic.
Just look at some of the things being reported said from communist subjects:
Residents complained that delays in aid had caused more deaths in the immediate aftermath of the quake.
In other words, “Gee, if we just had MORE government, less people would die.” Never mind the fact that much of the construction problems can be traced to government construction projects.
The child did not die right away and could be heard saying, “Please help me daddy, please rescue me,” right after the earthquake, he said, but there were no authorities to save her.
In other words, people stood by and did nothing because they were waiting for government help. They were apparently incapable of helping themselves because they have become SO dependent on government. Gee, does this sound eerily familiar?
Others are complaining because no one will help them. They yell at the government workers, but they do not get helped.
In other words, they stand there, completely incapable of doing anything without government. Does this sound like the hundreds of thousands that are utterly and completely depending on government aid in the form of Section 8, Welfare, and Social Security?
And this is the same government that cannot explain over 40 dead children who have perished from a disease — well, according to the government, anyway. From my own observations of the communist country, the official figures are likely to be much smaller than actual figures.
But hey, this is all coming to America soon. I bet you can’t wait, can you?

Crescent shapes with and without Islamic intent: the Obama logo example
The two most widely recognized symbols of Islam are the crescent and the sword. Kind of amusing that Barack Hussein Obama’s campaign logo can be seen to feature both a crescent and a curved Islamic scimitar:
The crescent shape in Obama’s logo has the round part on top, just like a traditional crescent shaped mihrab (the Mecca direction indicator around which every mosque is built). The animation shows the two most famous mihrabs in the world: the mihrab from the Great Mosque in Cordoba, and the Prophet’s mihrab in Medina.

So, North Carolina “needs” to spend $1,600,000.00 MORE of taxpayer money on furniture marketing. No, we just HAVE to. After all, since we already spent $1,000,000.00 on furniture marketing, it only makes sense that we NEED to spend an additional $1,600,000.00, right?
“We need to increase our concentration on international markets and continue to prospect for new categories of buyers”
Well, there you have it. We NEED to sell furniture made in North Carolina so people in international markets will buy it. I’m pretty sure I remember last time I was in Naples, I saw a billboard that just made me really want to buy North Carolina furniture. Or maybe that was just where a dog stopped on the sidewalk, I’m not sure.
The additional marketing money also would help trade show organizers bring more designers to High Point
Oh, well that’s even more important, isn’t it? After all, I’m sure most of the people of North Carolina today are seriously concerned about the lack of furniture designers in High Point. Yeah, that whole gas price thing and immigration debate is nothing when compared to High Point suffering through a veritable drought of furniture designers. We’ve certainly got OUR priorities straight.
“Anytime you have firsttime visitors, they are totally impressed by the magnitude of this event”
Well I didn't realize that the event was impressive. That just changes everything. How can we NOT spend a total of $2,600,000.00 of money people actually worked to earn and give that money to people who just WANT it.
What bastards. These folks, I hate to say it, are true lowlifes. They WANT something, but they don’t want to work for it. Instead, they want to convince government to use it’s monopoly on force to take from from people who work to give to them, so they can spend it. It really is nothing more than that. Oh, sure, they claim they’re “helping the state.” And what else will be done in the name of the all-powerful state? It would help the state to shoot everyone who isn’t paying taxes — are they advocating that, too? No, because that wouldn’t give THEM cash to spend.
