Manning Rules Bribery Legal

Judge Howard Manning (self-appointed literal King of North Carolina Education) has ruled that it is legal to take money by force from some people and use that money to give to other people in return for services. And yes, I’m well aware that most people, upon reading that, would claim that it’s bribery and theft. But this judge, ruling for the Durham County Superior Court, has said it’s not.

Now wait — before you head out and start taking money from people — that’s illegal for you. And wait before you start using other people’s money to bribe companies — that’s illegal for you, too. But it’s not illegal when government does it — which is what King Manning has proclaimed (and you had better not question the king).

King Manning has ruled that government can take taxpayer money and use it to bribe different businesses to locate to their community — favoring whatever business that gives them the most cash. Gee, what’s next, government taking private land to give to businesses that give them cash? Oh right, that’s already happening. Oh, how I yearn for freedom.

Gay Faith and Credit

So the news world is all abuzz over the new ability for same-sex “marriages” in California. And make no mistake about it, this is NOT gay “marriage.” Gays have ALWAYS had the ability to get married. They just didn’t like the fact that the word “marriage” applied to people of different sex. So the only new “right” here, completely invented by judges, in opposition to people, is same-sex “marriages.”

But one thing I keep hearing about is that California’s newly judge-discovered “right” lets non-residents of California “marry” a person of the same sex (or a dog, or many people, etc). And people are already claiming that because of the full credit and faith clause of the Constitution (sure, the left wants to use that thing now), other states will be forced to recognize same-sex “marriages” in their home states. I think that’s a damn load of crap, and if state government had any guts at all, this would be a complete non-issue. And I can find at least two ways that this is true.

First, why does the application of the “full faith and credit” clause only go one way? In other words, why can California decide they like a law, then they can FORCE every other state to have that same law, but it doesn’t work the other way? In other words, if NC judges created a law that said all people who engage in homosexual sex should be jailed, why shouldn’t California be FORCED to follow that law due to the “full faith and credit” clause? In addition, that clause actually says, “Full Faith and Credit shall be given in each State to the public Acts, Records, and judicial Proceedings of every other State.” That says EVERY OTHER state. In other words, if every single other state doesn’t have the same law, we should be able to ignore it.

At the same time, I can see another way that the rest of the states who don’t want to be forced to recognize this newly created toilet of a societal norm can easily apply it. It goes like this:

Sure, we, as a state, recognize that you, as North Carolina citizens, are “married” in California. We do not dispute that, and we give California the full faith and credit that you’re “married” there. But you’re not married here, so go suck eggs.

Oh, how I yearn for freedom.

Impeach Judge Barbara Walther?

If you have read any of my writings on this horrible abuse of power, you know that I certainly agree that this judge should be impeached. I actually think she should be charged with crimes. But now there’s at least one other person who thinks that she should be removed from her abusive position — and he clearly disagrees with the religion of the FLDS. This fellow’s started a petition to remove her from the court. He says he’ll present the petition to lawmakers. Any bets on whether there’s more than one single lawmaker that would even consider removing her, even if every last voter in the state of Texas signed the petition?

No, this case makes the rules clear: government employees (elected and appointed) have one set of rules and laws and simply will not be bound by ANY laws that govern the peons people.

Representative Republic?

So, do you still think we live in a society where the People get to decide the laws? That’s what was started back in the late 1700s, in case you didn’t know. But hey, it looks like more and more people are wanting us to go to a system where Those Who Know Better decide ALL laws. And Those Who Know Better don’t even live in this country. But They will make sure they do what’s best for everyone — especially all children. I imagine we would all be better off if we just have government take children right after they’re born. It’s For The Children and the “Public Good” don’t you know.

Right to Marry?

If you want a clear example of how twisted our system of government has become, go read the California Supreme Court ruling regarding marriage. I’ll warn you, it’s 172 pages (I read it), and it’s disgusting.

To sum it up, they take 172 pages to discover a “right” for gay marriage in their Constitution. One of the reasons it takes them 172 pages is because if you read the Constitution, you won’t find it. In fact, you won’t find anything CLOSE to “All persons, fruits, and lunatics residing in the state can marry any person, animal, or other object they desire.” But the California Supreme court claims it’s there.

In reality, that Constitution does have clearly defined rights. Unfortunately, they are listed as rights that people have, instead of listing government rights. A Constitution that lists individual rights without that phrase, “All other rights are reserved to people” means that the government rules its people (and not the opposite, which is necessary for a free country).

In fact, in that insane decision rendered by the California Supreme Court, where they claim to undertake the Constitutionality of the issue, they actually find this new right inside the right to marry, which is inside the right to privacy — none of which are, of course, actually IN that Constitution. In fact, the decision is so incredible that they spend page after page explaining that marriage IS between a man and a woman — and always has been, according to California law, Constitutions, history, and everything and everywhere else!

But of course, none of that matters. The reason these “rulings” are often referred to as “decisions” is because that’s what they are — personal decisions of the black-robed rulers. They’re not based on history, law, or more importantly, on the Peoples’ decisions in how they want to run the country. The judges make up their mind what is right and wrong, and NO ONE shall ever challenge them at any time. The People have no say in how this government operates.

Lawsuit Lottery Winner #4,398

Hey look: another lawsuit lottery winner! Yes, folks, allow me to introduce to you one Jose Luis and Olga Maynoldi and their ambulance-chaser, David Deehl. They are the latest to win a huge cash payout in the lawsuit lottery for doing absolutely nothing! Our ambulance chaser, Mr. Deehl, will likely get cash in the range of $8.4 million for doing nothing but slandering people! And our secondary contestants, Jose Luis and Olga Maynoldi, will get around $5 million for doing absolutely nothing but being irresponsible! Come now, step up and congratulate our contestants. Sure, they might be a little disappointed that their son nearly killed himself and he’s brain-damaged and paralyzed, but they’re happy now because a big pile of cash heals all wounds.

In this contest, their son, Gabriel Maynold, was allowed by his parents to drink a bunch of alcohol and then drove himself into a tree. Well, they’re not sure whether it was their son driving or this other kid, but that doesn’t really matter. What matters is that they found a school that had some money, and they thought that since they were irresponsible and their son did something stupid, they should get a big pile of cash! And our wonderful legal system agreed! What a great country, no?

Now those of you trying to connect these incidents with logic, just stop right there. There is NO place for logic, common sense, or even truth in the American justice system. Instead, it’s just about who has cash and who gets the cash. You see, the school has cash and the parents didn’t, so the school has to give cash to the parents. No, the party wasn’t on school grounds. No, the party wasn’t sponsored by the school. No, the school had NOTHING to do with the party. In fact, the principal of the school openly told the students to NOT drink alcohol. He even tried to break up the party! Therefore, it’s the school’s fault the kid got drunk and drove into a tree at 80mph.

The concept of justice does not exist in this country, except in rare instances. If it did, the judge would have thrown this case out and fined the ambulance chaser for bringing it to trial.

Rights In America

So, do you have any rights in America? No, really, do you? What rights do you think you have?

I think the courts are currently working hard to ensure that you don’t really have any rights, even if you think you do. Just take a look at a couple recent quotes from our black-robed rulers:

voters in Oregon have no legal right to have their petition signatures counted

Wouldn’t it be neat if we had the right “petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” I think that would be a key right in a free country. But this judge clearly has outlined that if you have a problem with government, you are to shut up. Government not only doesn’t have to listen to you, you don’t even have the right to talk to them. Be careful what you say to elected officials these days — because you don’t have the right to complain to them, according to this judge.

parents do not have a constitutional right to homeschool their children.

I wish there were a law that would prevent government from “prohibiting the free exercise” of religion. I’d love to have the “right of the people peaceably to assemble.” I think it would be really cool if I had “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated.” But judges are pretty consistent these days — you have zero rights related to children. After all, It’s For The Children ™.

Government has decided what religion they will support and you are no longer allowed to teach your children another. Oh sure, YOU can have a different religion, but if you attempt to teach that to your children, you will be jailed. It’s For The Children ™.

Oh, how I yearn for freedom.

Kiss My ***?

Did you know that apparently it’s illegal to tell someone to do what the title of this post suggests? I’m sure most of you can fill in the asterisks. Apparently in South Carolina, if you tell someone that, it’s 90 days in jail. I’m not kidding. 90 days in jail for telling someone to “Kiss My” you-know-what.

Oh wait. Now I see. It’s not just anyone — it’s the supreme beings on the planet. It’s only if you tell the people who honestly believe they have the ultimate power of life or death over anyone, bar none, and have no checks or balances on their power at all. Yes, the black-robed ones. Apparently you get sent to jail if you DARE insult them.

Don’t you wish there were a country where everyone were equal under the law? Maybe we should start one, because I don’t know of one that exists today.
