McCain and Republicans

I just can’t be a member of the Republican Party. With McCain, the party has confirmed that they don’t want freedom or liberty in any way, shape, or form. I, too, might have to start calling myself a recovering Republican.

I’m not a Republican, I’m independant, but I do tend to vote their way more often than not. But the candidates they have put up in the last 10 years have me wondering if they are trying to lose these elections, espeically in Illinois.
Either way, I’m said six months ago that I’m not voting for McCain, and I’m still not.
I’m referring to myself more and more as a “recovering Republican.” I’m still not voting for McCain, either.
