Quality Government Health Care

So, you want government health care. Hope you don’t want to live.

How would you like to be in need of a few drugs, but be told you can’t have them? And no, even if you have money, you’re not allowed to buy them. Instead, the government explains to you that they will pay for you to be killed, but they won’t pay for drugs that will heal you. And again, when government is running health care, there are NO other options (because those would be illegal).

Get ready, because that’s the case. And no, not in England or Canada, but here in the socialist mecca of Oregon. This IS exactly what government health care will look like: Giving drugs to kill people will always be covered. If you have medical skills or the ability to treat people, I suggest you consider how you will set up a black market now because both presidential candidates and the Democrats in Congress honestly want to set this system up nationwide.

  1. I’ve got so much to say on this topic, I almost don’t even know where to begin… but just let me try.

Recently, Japan (a believer in the Kool-Aid of nationalized healthcare) mandated the weight standards of all its citizens as a way of maintaining health care costs. In “providing” for the health of all its citizens, they passed a law. Yep, 60% of all the Japanese between the ages of 40 and 74 years of age are now being weighed by a government official. If they get weighed and miss the weight requirements the government has established for them, and they are required to undergo a government approved weight reduction program. Then they get reweighed. If they are still “out of compliance” with this government gone wild, they get a fine! And the Japanese have already insinuated that they are far more svelt than the average american (probably true by the way), but that we really NEED this kind of government intrusion…. never mind that we have a Constitution, and it doesn’t say ANYTHING about the government controlling my weight.

I really am not personally affected by this, since I’m an athlete by nature and choice, and have about 8% body fat on any given day. But I am afected, since my country is being taken over by beaurocrats armed with pills, scales, and tax plans. Under nationalized healthcare, I and everyone else will become official lab rats of a government health care program. And, just like the way they dictate speeds on the highway and textbooks in the classroom, they will dictate the drugs you get (whether you need them or not will not be your call), and the government regulated (and taxed) treadmills you will be required to run on, and your health care will be at the point of a tax return. Brave New World ………..

  2. AND YOU will be required to pay for everyone else who does NOT take care of their own health. That’s the worst part of this. If I take care of my health and someone else does not, under what insane system of rights am I forced to pay for their bad habits? Oh, right, America.

And you can be sure that with national healthcare, there will be no other options — well, except for Congress and government. You can be sure they will have their own system and their own doctors who will give them anything and everything they want.

  3. …..Doctors with badges and the responsibility for enforcing health care laws, no doubt! Next, they’ll require marksmanship training at all Med Schools, so they can shoot the lawbreakers as a two-fer… those they wound they get to treat, and those eliminate they generate a big government reward for weeding out the “bad ones”.

In Japan, there have been cases of people dying, having been placed on exercise programs after a lifetime as a “couch potatoe”. Survival of the fittest, government style….

  4. They’ve got to have bureaucrats with guns to enforce quite literally ANY government program or regulation. We’ve got to employ the unemployable, don’t you know. I don’t understand why more people cannot see the complete and total destruction of freedom. When Hillary tried to do it, people complained. But its years later now, and no one cares for freedom any more.

  5. Man you guys are both nailing the total picture on this. I know a few months ago there was a story about how in the UK, they were passing a law stating that the doctors treating you in the hospitial would have the final say about whether it was time to “harvest your organs”! Used to families of the dying party were given the final word, OK… we give permission for you to take British Ogre’s heart, liver, eyes, kidneys. Now if the Doc want’s to say British Ogre’s knee surgery has gone sour and he will die… they can help themselves!!! That is soooo wrong, But when the government runs a program they in essence run your life and determine your faith aka “being OWNED”.

  6. whoops! “determine your fate”… not faith… though they try to do that too!

  7. Too bad we can’t harvest the brains of these politicians, but then, who’d want them?

  8. We can give them to science to study…
