Vice President Hillary Clinton?
So, what do you think about Hillary as Vice President? No, I don’t mean for Obama, I mean for McCain. Seriously.
Look, McCain’s election strategy is crystal clear. He doesn’t care one bit about Republicans, conservatives, or even those in the middle. Instead, he’s already completely written off all those people. He figures going against Obama, all those people are not voting for Obama. So instead of trying to get a large number of votes, his strategy is to ensure that Obama gets as few votes as possible — so he’s going after the left. I think he believes that those on the right will either not vote or hold their noses and vote for him. Either way, he doesn’t really care — they’re not voting for Obama. Therefore, he just wants to get as many Democrat votes as he can. I think he’s counting on the number of Democrat votes he gets plus whatever he grabs from Republicans will be more than what Obama can put together. So why not choose Hillary for VP?
And yes, I realize that Hillary would never accept the post. Well, I suppose she may actually consider it because she knows that she would be one weak heartbeat away from the presidency. And the way people keep turning up dead around the Clintons, McCain would be completely nuts to select her. But what does McCain have to lose? He makes this grand speech about “new times” and “change.” He talks about total unity of the country and then makes a huge public spectacle and publicly asks Clinton to be his running mate so they can “work together across party lines” to make the country better.
Then Clinton can consider, get her time in the limelight, and then refuse. McCain’s gained piles of Hillary supporters — taking away votes from Obama. He hasn’t lost anything because those few Republicans left who actually support him won’t stop supporting him because of that sort of stunt. And those who are sitting around, praying he will select a conservative for VP aren’t going to get one anyway, so he won’t lose anything there. In fact, if McCain plays his cards right, he could offer Clinton the job and when she refuses it, then he can ask Romney — gaining votes for both actions!

I voted Hilary Clinton, and only support Hilary Clinton, No matter what Hilary Does suspend her campaign concede her campaign. According to the Democrat Party, you, Jody, are a racist. I don’t think you are, just the Democrat Party does. I don’t think either of the two major candidates should be the next president. Who do I get to vote for? Here in North Carolina, I am not permitted to vote for anyone else!

Forget Hillary, the first female VP will be Alaska Gov Sarah Palin running w/McCain.

Sarah Palin is awesome, with a true conservative voting record… It would take the sting out of voting for McPain.
Jody, if you think we are ready for a black President and want to look over a legitimate and experienced candidate, do a google search on Alan Keyes and check out where he stands on issues and what his experience is. He is the polar opposite of Obama.
Which is why McCain is highly unlikely to pick Palin as a running mate — they don’t agree on issues. I have voted for Keyes for President (back in 2000, or whenever it was he ran last time).
