Government Religion

So, what would you say is the official government religion of America? I think it might be quite possible to argue that it’s environmentalism. You might even be able to claim it’s atheism. An accurate statement might be that it’s anything BUT Christianity. But more troubling is that there is even a government-endorsed religion at all.

But hey, those are YOUR tax dollars that are being used to pay for a school where students learn to hate and learn about a religion that tells them to kill those who do not believe as they do. Anyone want to explain how that’s NOT a government endorsement of religion? Oh wait, I see now, it’s because the religion is Islam. Since Islam is on the preferred list of government endorsed religions, that’s okay.

You may attempt to argue that it’s the Saudi government that’s funding the jihad school in VA, but it’s on government property. How in the world can it be right for a foreign government to use American government property to promote the overthrow of the US government? Right, because it’s under the guide of one of the official US government religions.

Can you imagine if I wanted to just walk on government property and claim that Muslims are bad? Anyone want to place bets on how quickly I would be arrested, just while passing through government property? But since this is Islam, Virginia is allowing them to continue spreading their hatred, and they ARE using YOUR tax dollars to do it. I wish there were somewhere where one was free to exercise their religion. I wish there was somewhere that the government didn’t support one religion over another. And I wish there were a place where I were not forced to pay for religions I don’t agree with. But that place is clearly not the United States of America today.

  1. Remember, the more bureaucratic a government becomes, the more totalitarian it has to become in order for the bureaucracy to survive. Government exist today primarily to keep the otherwise “unemployable” employed. Government workers now this and will always vote for party’s/candidates that advocate expansion of Government.

  2. Indeed, most government actions are primarily designed to get more votes for the next so-called “election.”
