So, are you still having trouble getting ends to meet? Are you still trying hard to make your paycheck go further? Are you still cutting back on things because you simply don’t have enough money to do things you used to do? Do you believe there are economic issues with price increases? Well, government doesn’t. In fact, while you are doing all sorts of things trying to make it to the end of the month, government continues to spend at will.

Just last night the Charlotte City Council members increased spending by nearly 11% and gave themselves a 27% raise. Gee, what a surprise. Guess there are no economic problems. I guess if you’re government, you can just ignore all laws of the economy and just do whatever you want. So work harder, you non-bureaucrats — someone has to come up with the money to pay these slime-balls their 27% raise.

And yes, of course — it’s not an election year for these bums.
