Jessica’s Law Now North Carolina applauds N.C. Senate Judiciary I (Civil) Committee for approving the SB 2063, Jessica’s Law.
We are glad to see after two years of hard work, from meetings, calling and email that Jessica’s Law moving forward, to becoming a law.
Jessica’s Law Now North Carolina is non-political. This Group was formed in response to apathetic lawmakers, who were dithering about Jessica’s Law rather than making a solid difference toward protecting our children. This formed coalition is tired of all the prolonging games and excuses our lawmakers, had made when it comes to our children.
In past years, we voiced our outrage to North Carolina lawmakers for failing to provide stricter laws against sex offenders. We had been disgusted with the lack of support from members of the North Carolina General Assembly and our North Carolina Governor.
Jessica’s Law Now North Carolina was pleased with the stand that North Carolina Rep. Tim Moore took last year; as a driving force get Jessica’s Law through the North Carolina House Committees.
North Carolina State Senator David Hoyle has become the driving force getting Jessica’s Law through the North Carolina Senate and we are grateful. We now cautiously optimistic that this will become law, and hope that you make your voices heard in support of our State Senators, encouraging them to pass this law in full measure.
Jessica’s Law Now North Carolina will be respectfully asking the members of the North Carolina State Senate step up to the plate and pass SB 2063, Jessica’s Law.

I know it’s been a long and frustrating road Ogre, but I hope your state Senator’s do the right thing for a change and get the law in place. I’ll put it in my prayers.
It’s moving forward…slowly… but there are a bunch of people trying to get the elites to listen to reason.
