Are You Rich or Poor?
I realize that people have struggled with answering this question for some time. I know that many don’t care about financial matters and realize that they can be “rich” without having a dollar. But I’m wondering, in this post, if you think you should be considered “rich” based on the amount of your government-reported earnings. Don’t worry if you don’t know — in North Carolina, the Democrats are making the determination for you. Oh, and just so you know when you hear all the campaigns and rhetoric:
In North Carolina, if you earn more than $40,000 in a year, you are “rich.” If you earn less than $40,000 in a year, you are “poor.”
Now keep in mind all the government benefits and punishments associated with those numbers and definitions. If you are “poor,” then you get cash from government. Oh, but remember, government, by definition, is absolutely incapable of producing anything at all — so the cash you get will come from those “who can afford it” — or the rich. And yes, it really is that simple. The Democrats who rule the North Carolina government are working on taking more from those who work and earn (the rich) to give directly to “the poor” — even if they don’t work one day in their life. And of course, the government will take their cut from the transaction.
Can anyone provide me any evidence to claim that the government in North Carolina is NOT complete and total socialism? Is there anything that can be produced and traded without government? Is there ANY industry that is NOT controlled by government? Is there any means of production that’s not controlled by government? I sure can’t find any.
