Judge Barbara Walther to Texas: Screw You
So, remember the innocent people in Texas who have had their families destroyed by the government? Oh yes, they are innocent — you didn’t get that from the news reports? There have been zero convictions of any crimes. There has been zero EVIDENCE of any crimes. But none of that matters. The state has absolutely destroyed the lives of hundreds of people simply because they had a religion that some people didn’t like.
And as I predicted, it didn’t end when the Texas Appeals Court ruled that the actions of the government were wrong. It didn’t even end when the Texas Supreme Court ruled that the state not only should never have seized the children and destroyed the families and that the state should return the children. No, now one Judge Barbara Walther has said, “Gee, I don’t care that the government broke all sorts of laws in taking these children. I don’t care that the lives of the children are being destroyed every day that they’re separated from their parents. I don’t care that no one broke any laws and they’re being punished anyway. In fact, I don’t even care that the Texas Supreme Court ordered me to give the children back. I’m keeping them in foster care because I want to.”
Barbara Simpson has much the same viewpoint of this entire, horrible mess.
Since we know that “all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness,” I wonder it would look like for the government to “becomes destructive of these ends.” Because this situation sure looks like that to me. And after all, “it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”
I think it is crystal clear that “a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism,” and that it is past time to “throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.” But at the same time, I realize that “all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.” Well, when the rest of you have had enough and want freedom, just drop me a line — that is if the government hasn’t decided to get rid of me yet. Oh, how I yearn for freedom.
Update, 10:45 AM EDT:
Now the headlines report Judge Orders Return of children. What a damn load. The parents have been permitted by government to pick up some children. Oh, and in order to do so, the parents have to sign over various rights to the government. Now why is it that if I force someone to sign a contract and threaten to kidnap their children if they do not sign; that my contract is invalid — but if Judge Walther does so, it’s perfectly legal? This is still wrong, and has been wrong all along. The government is way, way out of control and Judge Walther refuses to relinquish her power and unconstitutional and unlawful authority. The families are not allowed to leave Texas. I would suggest the only hope for these families is to immediately and quickly depart that state and go into hiding. This is a TEMPORARY order. As part of this order, these families have been ordered to sign over ALL rights. They have NO fourth amendment protections left (as if they had any before). In other words, as a condition of releasing the kidnapped children, the parents have to agree to allow the state to take the children back at any time.
There is one message and one clear option. These parents should get their children and flee. They should hide because the state WILL take the children back whenever this judge decides she wants to. Need I remind you good readers? NO ONE has been convicted of ANY wrongdoing at all. This judge has NO right to order these parents to sign over all rights of their children. This judge should be overthrown. But alas, no, people are allowing this to continue because they don’t like this religion. Indeed, these are the end days of Western Civilization and freedom in this country. Just you wait. It may Texas and this government that soon declares it openly illegal to be a Christian, too.

All it will take, under this government, is ONE single person employed by government who doesn’t like me — then I will have no rights and government will be able to use all its power to do whatever they like — and even if it’s wrong, no one will exist to punish them. What a government.
