Colorado Welcomes Sexual Predators
If you are a sexual predator that likes to look at young, naked children, you are WELCOME in Colorado. The state is opening their doors to you. In fact, they have made it completely legal for you to walk into any public locker room or public rest room (including the local elementary schools) and have a look around. No, it doesn’t matter what sex you are or which locker room you enter. I’m not making this up. If a 50-year old man wants to walk around in the changing room of the local junior high school, they can without any fear of punishment from the government.
Oh, and if you happen to be the father of a girl who is being watched in the local theater’s restroom by a pervert and you touch that pervert for gawking at your 8-year old daughter, the state will fine you $5,000 and throw you in jail for a year — and that’s in addition to likely assault charges.
No, there is no freedom left in this country. If you have a child, you are clearly unwelcome in the state of Colorado. You can be sure there is no way I will go there. Oh, and the citizens? No, they have no say in this matter. This decision has been made by Those Who Know Better. Get out while you can.

I agree that the rule is wrong, but don’t you think you are exagerating just a tad and trying to play off a culture of fear? The ruling is MORE strict than you imply, and you act as if there aren’t a host of other loopholes that could be used to easily keep pervs out of “elementary school restrooms” by already vigilent school administrators (ie trespassing on school grounds for one). I am not arguing with your stance on this legislation at all…..but when one takes their point to the furthest extreme to argue by fear, their argument loses wait. Reference George Bush.
In the end, your right, but you wouldn’t know it from reading your over-the-top analysis. Just my two cents.
Honestly? No, not at all. I read the law. It is exactly as I provided. If I am in Colorado and a man walks into the women’s public rest room and starts staring at my daughter, if I use force to stop him, I am a felon and can be fined $5,000. That’s exactly the law as it is written, period. It’s not extreme, it’s what the law says.
And it is also exactly as I have outlined. ANY sexual predator is completely and totally free to walk in the local park’s swimming pool locker room and look around. No exaggeration, again, that’s now LEGAL, plain and simple.
