What I will never understand is why people will always vote for “RICH” democrats (Obama, Kennedy, Edwards)? Do anyone honesty think that “rich” democrats actually give a rat’s behind about America’s “working” poor (peasants).

Well, the poor and uneducated seem to actually believe Democrats who claim they will “help” them. I think it’s partially that many are uneducated, while others are just “hopeful.” Take Obama’s current supporters — they know they like Obama because he’s for “change” — but none that I have talked to can give any example of any way Obama will help them in their life.
And I don’t mind people being stupid. I absolutely think you should be free to be stupid. What I don’t like is when they make ME, personally, pay for it. That’s wrong.

I’m all for the fair tax — as long as the income tax completely gets removed at the same time. Otherwise we’re doubled crushed with taxes.
Big government = big taxes

I will NEVER understand why ANYONE would give up their freedom, and passively accept being told by a bunch of control freaks that THEY can live your life for you a whole lot better than you can. Certainly they can spend your money better than you can, so just hand ovver your wallet, and THEY will tell you when THEY are done with it. Do NOT look behind that curtain to discover that not only will they promise you ANYTHING, they will actually promise you EVERYTHING, and then expect you will never notice thePRICETAG. Coming soon, the government will deliver on another little surprise, more money for EVERYONE, when they just print a whole bunch of it to cover the debt they’ve run up, and none of it will be worth the paper it’s written on.
Oh, but it’s “For The Children.” It makes you FEEL good. And it will just cost YOU “a little bit.” Are you so selfish that you won’t help anyone else?
No, I understand that type of person all too well. They are perfectly willing to “help” people (read: make them dependent on government) with YOUR money, but they are WAY too selfish for them to help people with their OWN money. They’re slimy, miserable, evil bastards who hide behind children.
The “Children” who are going to be “helped” by the Democrats had better watch that video again of the grimy little kid in the paper-shack village with one sandle and one shoe, and the voice droning in the background about how you can feed this child for only $.25/day, because these kids are going to be scrounging through the trashpiles in just the same way after the Democrats get done squandering not only the wealth of the nation, but the future prospects for “the children” right along with it. Government produces nothing, and is always going to be dependant upon the work and the work ethic of those who DO produce something. Government is a ball and chain to be dragged by those who actually work for a living, while those who have no desire to work or support themselves shackle themselves securely to those who are willing to pull their pathetic load.
Now you’re going to have to stop that. Logic has NO room in the discussion of “ideas” and Democrats.
And to be honest with you, the most kids that Democrats can get dependent on government (and starving, if need be) in rags, the more successful Democrats believe their programs are! I’m dead serious. Government program success is measured not by how well off people are, but by how many are getting “aid” from government.
Yes, government never will produce anything — but if they can make more dependents, they believe they are successful.
