You know what really amazes me is inorder to have the many give away program Dems like, they need to collect lots of tax dollars, but they turn around and do things that create jobs lost and tax people to death that are employed.
Seems to me they would want the working stiffs working to pay taxes! But in the student loan industry… because Teddy Kennedy hates Sallie Mae, they got legislation through that killed FFELP loans. The people that hurts… students who come from homes with too much income to quality for grants, and unable to get FFELP now, so where are the altrnatives there? And to date Sallie Mae is skampering to cut costs to save jobs, but there is no growth there right now and Nelnet, a smaller student loan provider has had to layoff 40 % of their workforce nationwide! All because Dems had to fix something that wasn’t broken, just because maybe the CEOs didn’t back Teddy’s campaign or backed an adversary… who knows. But as much as Dems want lots of tax money, they are sure setting up average Americans with a lot of job loss!!! Free Enterprise and the Fair Tax Act would be sooo much better for everyone, including children who need healthcare because Mommy and Daddy would have more money on their paychecks to pay for the healthcare plan at work!
And exactly what do you think will happen to the million plus people who work in the healthcare industry if they socialize medicine? Especially healthcare insurance companies, nurses and hospital staff, etc… layoffs, lower wages, people no longer going into the healthcare field due to the fact they can’t afford to pay for college and then make low wages. It just seems counter productive to me.
I just realized in the first paragraph I stated Dems do things to “create jobs”… duh… I meant “destory” jobs as in the examples I give. I posted that late in the day!
I am so freaked out over all the things done in Congress that isn’t making America any stronger to be honest.
You think that Democrats care about people? How wrong you are! No matter what they say, they honestly do not care about individuals. They care about the SYSTEM. They want government control and power. They do not care who it hurts or kills, seriously. Some may not be evil, they just don’t care. They create jobs because that gives them more power — not because it helps anyone.
Actually, the jobs they tend to create are lower paying jobs and then they want to beat their dumb and create statistics that give the illusion that they care! They run out more jobs that pay well than you can count with legislation that encourages outsourcing and offshoring. Putting people out of work makes them dependant and that gives Dems power.
They seem to really hate free enterprise except when it’s time to send out the tax bills! Creating a welfare state only increases the power and control they have over people. (See, I am trainable after all!) I guess I’m not a Dem anymore, because I don’t think that way anymore. If one creates a strong economy, strong business environment and promotes a strong defense for a society, the society will flourish. Right now, I and most people I talk with just feel beat down by out of control circumstances.
You are correct. The Democrats crave power above all. I just want freedom. They talk about how they are successful because they have “attracted” jobs. That’s crap. If you want to attract jobs, government should reduce taxes and make a place safe. That’s all. Nothing else.
