Government, Freedom, and the FLDS “sect”
I’ve mentioned before how screwed up the government is, and how bad they have acted in crushing freedom and rights in the Texas FLDS case. Keep in mind as this continues — a LARGE number of people have ALREADY been punished — and there has been no trial, no evidence, ZERO due process. But that is how the government works today.
Now have you see the latest actions of these bureaucrats? I’m having a hard time as I write this in reining in my emotions. I’m very close to openly saying that these people should be shot on sight. These bureaucrats are now saying:
If a child refuses to be immunized, we’re not forcing any children to be.
Of course, in the next breath, he explains that they WILL be immunized. At the same time, the parents of these children (who still actually, erroneously, believe they might get to see their children again) are literally terrified of the government bureaucrats. The parents don’t want an immunization for religious reasons. However, they know, beyond a doubt, that if they make that claim, the bureaucrats will use that as evidence that the parents and children should never see one another again.
This is absolutely awful and horrible. This is government abuse of power at it’s best. Some bureaucrats have made decisions that affect almost 500 children — the VAST majority of which have broken no laws, nor are even victims of crime. In other words, almost no one has done anything wrong — for which they are being severely punished. And the bureaucrats continue to use threats of violence and force to impose their religious will on these people.
People, the less is made more clear every day. If you have children and any department of child services (social services, whatever it’s called in your area) ever so much as looks your way, if you have or participate in a religion that the government doesn’t like — you have two choices: attempt to fight government and never see your family again; or run in terror from the government, knowing they will hunt you down and kill you if they catch you. But at least you’ll be with your family a bit longer. Decide now, because once these horrible, evil, destructive demons from government show up, you won’t have long before they return with lots of people with guns.

This has been handled so horribly, I just get sick when I see what is going on and the treat to all our freedoms that is taking place. They could have gotten the score on whether or not under aged children were being sexually abused through “proper investigation” and without violating the parents rights. The way they are dealing with this, we will all be at risk. The lack of “due process” being used is SCARY!!! Good bye liberty.
That’s “Threat” not “treat”… duh!!!….
And have you seen the latest? Mental health professionals are basically saying that the way the child “protective” services has handled this case would be child abuse — if government were subject to laws. In other words, if anyone else had done what government did in this case, they would be tossed in jail. But government can do quite literally anything they desire without any repercussions.
Also, in this case, it’s the bureaucrats that are violating the law — so you can literally do nothing. You can’t vote them out, because you didn’t vote them in. You either submit to them, or fight (and they kill you).
The killing part was proven at Waco and Ruby Ridge.
I hadn’t heard about the “abuse” part, but until we get laws that hold “appointed and hired” arms of the government accountable (apparently the Constitution isn’t enough), we are all in jeapardy. It makes me sad and feeling like all is lost.

A few described ongoing tension between the two groups of social workers, including threats by CPS to have interfering MHMR workers arrested.
Yep… don’t disagree with gooberment, even if you are a trained professional with years of experience… because even you can find yourself “fitted for an orange jumpsuit” in no time!!! I’m surprised they didn’t get threatened by a lynch mob!
Please explain to me the difference between a lynch mob and government bureaucrats “doing their job.”
No difference that I can see!!!!
Exactly my point. Government rules today by fear and fear alone. In a free society, government fears the people. In America, NO bureaucrat fears ANY mere citizen. Seriously. Think of any government employee you have had to deal with. Can you think of any one who actually feared you in any way, shape, or form? Or are they all content, fat, and happy in doing their job, no matter what you, a mere peon, says or does?
You cannot violate the laws of the land in the name of Religion. Last I heard, grown ups having sex with teenagers is illegal. I agree with them taking those kids away, its not about what the consenting adults do amongst themselves, but when you bring kids into it, its wrong and its abuse. I applaud what officials are doing in Eldorado.
Then you applaud in direct opposition to the Constitution and freedom. In this case, there are numerous people who have already been punished — and not ONE person has been convicted of breaking ANY law. There are exactly ZERO “grown ups having sex with teenagers” in a court of law. Not one case has been tried. In fact, as more details come to light ( http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,355504,00.html ) more details are coming out that prove that laws were NOT broken.
In other words, people have been arrested and punished and not only have they not been convicted, but now evidence is appearing that shows they didn’t even break any laws at all.
This case would be the same as me having police come to your house and arrest you because you were selling cocaine — even if you weren’t. Someone claimed they were breaking the law — and the police attacked them.
I prefer a country where you are innocent until proven guilty. In this case it is VERY clear that these people have been punished first. It’s NOT about breaking the law — it’s about the government PROVING a law was broken before exacting punishment.
