Election Choices

Gee, I just can’t wait to vote this fall. I’m going to be told to pick either a candidate who actively, openly supports the invasion and conquest of a substantial portion of the United States — and is currently engaged in such a war; or I can support the candidate who is married to someone who wants to inflict seriously physical violence on former presidents. Look, I never liked Bill Clinton or his policies — but I would never wish physical harm on him, much less engage in it (except in a defensive mode, of course).

Anyone seen a miracle lately? We sure need one.

  1. I always vote. But this is one election I’m not looking forward to.

  2. I did vote today, as I suggested ( http://www.ogresview.com/archives/653 ). However, as I also mentioned ( http://www.ogresview.com/archives/666 ), it honestly doesn’t matter.

I voted for Ron Paul. He’s not winning. I voted for Pete Di Lauro for US Senate. Sorry, that’s the Dole seat. No one else will hold it as long as there’s a Dole who wants it. I voted for 3 council of state candidates — all Republican. Council of state seats are Democrat seats — none of those people I voted for have a snowball’s chance in hell of winning. Ogre Quixote, indeed.

Worse, all the fools in the press are screaming about how “Democrats have a chance to advance their nominee.” Of course, no Democrat votes matter one bit all all, either. The Democrat presidential nominee shall be chosen by Those Who Know Better, aka “superdelegate” — no matter how many people vote for anyone today in NC. What a farce.

  3. Sad story, Ogre. Obama will win NC, Shrillary will win Indiana, and we’re back to square one!

With the exception of the war & military deployment, I can mostly agree with Ron Paul’s positions. Unfortunately those positions make him seem like a total moonbat.

It’s a temptation to vote a totally democratic ticket just so they can screw up so bad we’ll get the majority back, and actually do something with it this time.

Insiders are saying Shrillary will go with the “nuclear option” after today is over, in order to woo the super delegates. Stand by with bandages for Obama.

  4. I understand your opposition to Paul, really I do. I don’t agree with him 100%, but an awful lot more than anyone else.

One thing I find interesting about this media circus is that it’s utterly irrelevant. I mean the whole thing is a game — the media and the elites are playing it. The people, who have to pay for all of this crap, have absolutely no say in any results at all. But if people ever figure that out, there would be a revolution!

  5. Hi Ogre!
I voted too (I have never missed voting in a primary or general election since I was old enough to vote!), but I voted in the Democrat Primary because I felt it was more important to vote against Obama.

I am still hopeful Alan Keyes will get to run on the Constitution Party ticket. I feel he is the hope we all need to get our country back to the liberty and freedom we all crave. If you haven’t checked out his website, please do as I would like to hear your thoughts on the things he stands for.

  6. He can’t. Chuck Baldwin was selected by the Constitution Party National Convention!

  7. Hummmm… I’ll have to look and see what party he is looking at then, because he is still working on getting on the ticket. That show’s you how much I know. LOL!!!

OK so tell me about Chuck….
