Ogre’s Politics and Views

So, I’m sure most of you are rather familiar with Hillary’s blatant lies about being under sniper fire in Bosnia. Oh, sorry, I’m not into newspeak, so I actually use words that have meanings: she openly, intentionally, and knowingly lied. It appears, if press accounts are true, that 10th district North Carolina Congressman Patrick McHenry is following her lead:

McHenry’s tale at the Lincoln County GOP’s annual Lincoln Day Dinner also included a death that supposedly occurred during insurgent rocket attacks, which did occur in the Green Zone shortly after he returned to his quarters.

However, official U.S. Embassy spokesman Philip T. Reeker said the facts were somewhat different, emphasizing that there were no fatalities from that rocket attack.

Gee, I guess since it worked for Hillary, it’s okay for a Congressman, right? After all, there really is no such thing as absolute truth in this world. Everything is just what you want it to mean and nothing more. I wonder if McHenry or his opponent, Lance Sigmon will be at the NC Conservative Leadership Conference. I sure hope so, I’d like to ask them more about this…
