Forgiving Mortgage Loans

Get ready. Get ready for the big cash handout! I’m getting ready, and I want all my readers to know that coming very soon, you too can get a HUGE cash handout from the government. Since everyone else is doing it, why shouldn’t I take advantage of the free government program to give me tens of thousands of dollars? As soon as this program goes into place, I’m signing up. I’m going to shoot for $80,000 — I think I can get that much.

Here’s how it works:

All you have to do to “qualify” for free cash is owe more on your house than it’s “worth.” See, right now, that’s not the case with my house. I’ve been responsible and have worked hard to get the loan balance down on the house. But now the government’s getting ready to penalize me for those actions — so I’m going to fight back.

I still get offers, at least three a week, for second mortgages. They’re promising me over $100,000 in loans. Now normally, I wouldn’t even consider the loans — because I’m trying to pay my house off. But when this program starts, I need to owe more than my house is worth. So, I’m simply going to accept one of those $100,000 loans. I’m going to get the money in cash or bearer bonds and put it in my mattress. Then I’ll sign up for this program! Since I’ll suddenly owe a LOT more than my house is worth, I’m going to ask the mortgage company to “forgive” $80,000 or so in debt. Then they can refinance my home mortgages at the lower amount. Since I’ll have to be able to “afford” the new amount, the payments will stay about the same. Once it’s refinanced, I’ll use the $100,000 and pay down the loan by $100,000! Now I’ll owe $80,000 less on my mortgage! Thank you, government.

Wow, is there anything government can’t do? Thank you government for reducing my loan balance. Oh, I know I’ll end up paying it all back in taxes, but that’s okay because YOU will have to pay for part of my $80,000 in free cash, too. Don’t like it? Tough. Government will send men with guns to kill you if you oppose them. Welcome to America today.

  1. Heard a woman on Hannity’s radio show. She had her father and brother die within 3 weeks of each other 2 years ago, and the only way to settle it up was to mortgage her house on an ARM. She has maintained the payments but her plan to refi after she got most of the additional debt paid down has been hampered since the bottom fell out on real estate values… she now owes more than her house’s market value… no refi, just a higher payment. She tried to apply for the help from the government… she was rejected on the deal!!!! Why… BECAUSE HER CREDIT WAS TOO GOOD! DAMN THE FICO SCORES ANYWAY!!!!

So… hold off on your big plans Ogre, government won’t give you approval for the plan unless you have screwed up credit mon ami!!!!

  2. You simply are NOT IRRESPONSIBLE ENOUGH!!! You were spawned from the wrong seed to rate Gooberment help!

  3. Crap, I need low FICO? I’ll have to get my plan in motion quickly — after I take out the second mortgage for $100,000, I’ll stop making payments on both the first and second. That should give me a nice FICO hit.

  4. All the goberment bail out of housing talk is going to make me stroke out yet.

I have yet been able to have a discussion on this mess without it ending up with me getting all majorly pissed off about it.

God it pisses me off so much, agh hhhhhhh.

I have to got to stop now, blood pressure already rising.

  5. QW, to top this off, Pelosi and her loons are trying to pass another amnesty bill this week. How many times does the American people have to call, fax and email everybody and his uncle to say NO AMNESTY!!!
Those libtards don’t want to do what the People want, they want to press their “destroy America agendas”. It is really quite insane. Better start taking garlic pills and asprin and keep the BP under control!!! Gooberment only gets more aggravating all the time.

  6. Breaking news: the Senate is going to take $4 BILLION from working people and give it to irresponsible bums.

    Only in America.

  7. Oh Lord… I refied my ARM last Spring and bailed myself out of the tight spot… gee, I should have held out for the free money, eh? Heck I should have borrowed more than my house is worth when I went for that loan option too. Oh well. You solve a crisis with a less than desirable loan, you pay it down and refi it so you can fix it yourself… and now I’ll get to pay more taxes so gooberment can fix the people who don’t use their heads and are irresponsible. That is a real slap in the face!!!

  8. You stop being responsible, the government WILL reward you. It really is as simple as that. Just take it and shut up — because government knows better than you.
