NC Lottery Continues to Fail
Are you surprised? The North Carolina Lottery is trying to expand to more stores — because they’re losing sales. Of course, this is the same government-run monopoly that’s been losing money since it started — and has never met it’s projected goals. So why aren’t retailers selling tickets? Because they’re not making money from the efforts, either.
So there you have the completely story of the North Carolina Lottery from it’s inception (right after the first lottery commissioner was sent to federal prison) — a complete and total failure. But don’t worry, North Carolina and the lottery are run by Democrats so they will solve this government-created problem the way they solve every other government-created problem: with more government. Now stop complaining and work harder so you can earn more money to support these bureaucrats.

Hoosier Lottery was supposed to be used for roads and schools… our schools are failing and the roads aren’t much better.
Ours is the “North Carolina Education Lottery” — and the schools are not getting one dime more in total dollars than they were before the lottery.
That’s how it’s been working here for years. Where’s all the breaks in taxes it was supposed to create? Our schools are no better, only worse than before.
Every lottery was sold on complete lies. That’s what they’re designed to do and they work every time.
