Ogre’s Politics and Views

Is it me, or is the phrase “Got ______” just way overused? Okay, so how about “Get ______?” I don’t know.

I do know that there’s a group of folks who have set up Get Liberty because

The time is ripe for an independent, nonpartisan political movement that fights for hardworking taxpayers against the special interests that continually push for big government nationwide.

I think it’s horribly sad that we need a political movement to fight Government. Seriously, that’s just horrible.

I’m not saying their work is bad — I’m saying that it really shows how utterly out of control government has become for anyone to believe that we need an organization dedicated to fight them. Once upon a time, this was a government “By the people and For the people.” It clearly is no more.

Well, go check out that site. Maybe if we fight government enough with political means, we won’t need to resort to other means. I’m not holding my breath.
