Harvard Muslim Women
By now I’m sure you’ve heard about special accommodations for Muslims that Harvard has set up. Of course, it’s wrong. And it would be quite easy to make the comparison, “What if Christians wanted a gym that forced their beliefs on Muslims?” — but I think more interesting is that this would never happen.
In other words, this is a true comparison of the Muslim religion versus the Christian religion. In this case, the Muslims have complained and demanded, and they have gotten their way. They demand and insist that everyone adjust to their way of doing things. They are not accommodating, nor nice. Instead, they demand everyone else adapt and change to their way, and only their way. They say that adjusting to America is “uncomfortable,” therefore everyone in America should adjust to the Muslim way and no other. This is how Muslims spread their religion. After all, according to their “prophet,” following Mohammed can be forced and coerced.
Instead, Jesus wanted people to follow him voluntarily. Jesus wanted to share and love others. And indeed, if Christians were in the gym and wanted to get others to follow their way of doing things, they would ask. They would talk. They would tell people about their way, but they wouldn’t force anyone.
And currently, government and education systems like Harvard are working on the side of the Muslims. These institutions are willing to help Muslims force others to follow their prophet. What a sad time this is when government and academic institutions are being used to advance a religious agenda using force. Wouldn’t it be great if we had a government that wasn’t supporting Muslims and instead people were free to choose their own religion?

You know what’s really FUNNY about all this??
It wasn’t THAT long ago that women were not allowed to share gym space with men, at ALL the IVY league schools. Back then it was a matter of everyone being proper…now it’s a matter of religion and culture. The feminist movement changed the same sex gym idea…yet says nothing about this.
And strangely enough, because the feminist movement hates western civilization, they find themselves allied with Muslims — who hate the idea of feminism.
Good post and great comments! I find it very offensive that NOW would push the murder of your offspring and indicate women are mistreated if you don’t bow down and kiss their butts, but they are silent when a “gang rape victim” is sentence to death in the Middle East or young teenaged girls are murdered by their father because they don’t have muslim boyfriends or won’t wear a scarf. Where are those obnoxious voices when the real crimes against women are taking place?
I think it really is quite a showing the difference here between the religions. For those who are not religious, who do you want as your neighbors — someone who will live and let live, or someone who is willing to use violence so that you “accept” them and do things their way.
Really sad, but true. You have some good postings up Ogre, I will have to get caught up this evening. I get busy and get behind and miss out!
Thanks. Not much to catch up on today. My Gary Gygax post is all I can do today. Seriously, that event makes me sadder than I’d have imagined.
Well, it’s like as long as there are things like that… stimulating, fun, a learning experience… in the world, you feel hope. When someone who’s work impacts your life, it’s like the end of a really good era. Kinda knocks the wind out of your sails.
Wow… I know I have a “block” when it comes to mentioning death. I left it out in the previous comment.
I meant “when someone dies who’s work….”.
My mother died in 97 (really came unhinged!) and Dad in 5-01 (was glad he didn’t live to see 9-11), and I feel like a big part of me passed with them. I was waaaay too young to lose my Mom.
Indeed, you were. I haven’t really had to deal with it much. I guess the last big death that I felt an impact from was Reagan. I took the day off work to watch the funeral processing in Washington.
Those do have a tendency to hit a person hard. Reagan was phoenomal man. When he was President I didn’t appreciate him as much as I do now looking back. But I certainly didn’t hate him like libtards hate Bush these days. There was even Iran/Contra and I still didn’t hate him. One always needs to acknowledge that the job is a killer in the stress department and no one comes out looking as young and robust as they did going in.
I’ll never forget the day I actually met Reagan. I was a Parris Island. Now THAT was awesome.
Wow! That had to be unforgetable!
VERY much so. It was in 1986, before the wall fell.
