  1. Do you really blame them? LOL!!! Hi Ogre!

  2. I’m starting to get the impression that you feel the same way about McCain as I do.

  3. I’ve had a number of people try and convince me to support McCain because “he’s what we’ve got,” or “he’s not as bad as HillaryBama.” I’m still stuck on that saying, “No good is no good.”

  4. Much can happen between now and the Convention. But I still have a hard time with the idea that he considered “relations with the North Vietnamese so important that he turned his back on the MIA/POWs and was abusive to the families during the Senate hearings. I really can’t think of him as a hero or anything but a man with issues and a temper problem. Not very “Presidential”. We just don’t have a decent human being running for President this time.

  5. Indeed, as Obama would have us say, “There is hope.” Ron Paul is still running. And I’m working now, trying to get to MN so I can be a delegate and vote for him!

  6. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. Something to put someone on the ticket who at least has a spine needs to manifest. I don’t think our country can take 4 years of any of the “above 3″ and not implode!

  7. I’m just not familiar with the process — so I’m betting that I can’t get “elected” as a delegate simply because I haven’t “paid my dues.” I’m still working on it — thanks for the offer of help.

  8. Just let me know. I know a couple of PGRs in Minnesota that might be able to give you info too and support you in some way.

  9. Well, I have to get to and through the state convention in NC first! :)

But if I get to MN, I might need a place to stay…

  10. Shouldn’t be a problem. :-) My connections are your connections mon ami!!!!

  11. MN? I’ve been gone too long.

  12. For the National Convention, silly! ;) I’m not moving there (although I’m eyeballing MT if it secedes). But I’d love to go to MN for the Republican National Convention so I could vote for president…

  13. I’ve had many try to convince me the same way. McCain is what we have. I’m sorry, Paul is out as far as I’m concerned, there is no way he’s going to the nomination. If he runs as an independent, I’d vote for him.

  14. I just can’t see much difference between Hillary and McCain, honestly. The Iraq war aside, they pretty much stand for the same thing and have the same ideas. Right now if all I get to choose is BillaryBama or McCain, I’m writing in Mickey Mouse.

  15. I got that (you know, whole delegate thing), the problem is I have been so buried, I didn’t know that MN was hosting the convention.

  16. I’m not sure even MN is quite aware of that yet, either… ;)
