Gamble… For the Children!
It’s For The Children(TM). Therefore, you MUST do it. If you don’t do it, you’re opposed to children. You’re evil and hate children. In fact, you want children to DIE if you don’t do it.
What’s it? It doesn’t really matter. As long as “It’s For the Children,” it’s “good.” At least in the mind of liberals and other big-government types. It’s the way to pass and support quite literally anything.
This time it’s four year olds being exploited to support the North Carolina “Education” Lottery. No, facts about the actual dollar spending on education will not be permitted in this discussion, so do not bring up the fact that no additional money has actually been spent on education since the lottery began. Instead, we must look at these “poor” four-year old children who are in state-sponsored and taxpayer-funded daycare and buy lottery tickets so that we can afford to pay for that state-sponsored, taxpayer-funded daycare. Otherwise, you see, these “poor” kids would be on the streets, selling drugs or something.
Quick, go buy your lottery ticket before another person is held responsible for their actions!
