In and Out…
of consciousness, that is.
Sorry to my regular readers who stop by looking for the latest excellent freedom-based commentary on the news. I’ve been rather sick the last couple days, and am mostly working on staying upright. I’ll be fine, it’s just a particularly nasty cold that’s been taking over my head area that’s been keeping me from posting.
On a related note, I wonder if people were strongly or wimpier years ago. I mean, think about the pioneers — did they get colds? Were they stronger people — when they got a cold, they just ignored it and it didn’t even slow them down? Or were they weaker people — when they got a cold, they just died and someone else took their place?

Feel better, Ogre.
I’ve been fighting off this crap that basically leaves me with a constant low grade headache from a stiff neck. Sucks. Of course, to get the full blown shat that the person I caught if from has? No thanks.

Caught it from my son last week. It went into a horrible sinus infection and upper respiratory infection. I am on meds now and doing better, but the doc says I could have been into pnemonia if I hadn’t gone in. So ya’ll be careful and watch closely. Hope you are feeling better real soon!
Being sick is a lame excuse. In fact that should be the excuse to blog more. If you’re not working, you have nothing but time to blog.
Thanks, folks, I’ll live. And HoosierArmyMom, last time I had something like this, I just ignored it for awhile. When I went to the doctor, at least it was worth it — he said I had pneumonia, sinusitis, and some other infection. That was fun.
But hey, I’m drinking some Guinness tonight, so that nasty stuff is coming out one way or another.
And Contagion, that’s true — if I were slacking off. Instead, I was at work as normal for all my regular hours. There’s a few people left in America who value work.
I’m not saying you don’t, just saying that it takes more than pneumonia to keep me out of work.
