Joe Torre in Blue?

It just doesn’t look right. Have you seen him? Joe Torre NOT dressed in Yankees attire. Weird.
What’s worse, I think I’m going to have to try and keep up with the Dodgers. Not only are they way away on the west coast, they’re a National League team. Yikes! Not so much because of Torre, but I REALLY can’t imagine Don Mattingly in blue! He’s currently listed as “Special Assignments Coach.” I don’t know why he’s not listed as “Manager, New York Yankees.” Oh well, I like Girardi plenty! I thought he was really classy when he played for the Yankees. But geez, to pass over Mattingly?
Oh well, it will soon be time for the game to begin again! Maybe I can catch the Dodgers when they come to play the Braves…

The way the Dodgers have been going, Torre should only be there a year or 2.
I’m almost tempted to get the baseball package, but, since half the games start at 10pm or later our time, I never see more then a couple innings.
That’s my problem, too, I hate that half their games will be starting so late. Guess I’ll just be reading a lot of box scores because I just can’t stay up that late. I really wonder what will happen to Mattingly if/when Torre leaves.
You all need to watch a real team play.

I’m still an Al Kaline fan…but well, haven’t seen a lot of Tigers games since that time…
Al is still a huge part of the team, president or vice-president of something.
Goes to all the games, home and road, attends spring training, helps on the field during workouts.
Detroit loves us some AL!
Is that right? I’ll have to try and find him some time. I’ve never met him. I think I still have the kid’s baseball glove that was signed by him.
