Calling WordPress 2.3.3 Experts
Hey, anyone out there upgrade to Version 2.3.3? My control panel has been showing the “Please update now” message for awhile, so I figured I’d try and update. So, I followed the instructions, backed-up files, uploaded new ones, and then headed for the dreaded “upgrade page.” The upgrade page says, “Your Wordpress is up to date.” So, I head back to the control panel: “Please update now.”
I hate when crap doesn’t do what the authors of said crap claim it will do.
Guess unless someone shows up here and tells me what to do other than what the instructions tell me, I’ll just ignore the “please update now” line. I wonder if there’s a way to make that go away in the control panel.

Not a clue how to upgrade, Dreamhost has auto-installs and upgrades, however, if you go in to the plugins, you can disable core updates.
I am still on 2.3.2, see no reason at the moment to upgrade. Nothing really important in the upgrade.
My hosting service hasn’t released it yet to upgrade, so I just blow off the warning. Didn’t know anything about “core” updates ???
Weird. Thanks for the comments. I guess I’ll just ignore the “update now!” message.
