IL Campus Shooting Notes

By now I’m sure nearly every reader of the internets and blogs has heard about the recent shooting on the campus in IL. My biggest question about the incident is, “Why is everyone so surprised?” I mean, this is “big” news. It’s taking up large fonts on front pages. Internet sites are using the expanded text and pictures. Everyone is talking about it. But it’s what we should expect. After all, it’s what we tell people to do.

How? A number of ways.

1. For over 30 years we have been telling people that life has no value. We have been telling people, and using the force of government to force people to accept this, that life is nothing. If a parent doesn’t want a child, they can just kill it. After all, it’s just a blob, not like it’s important or anything. Life has no value. And government has been enforcing that position with violence for decades.

2. If, by some miracle, you manage to be born, that’s just pure luck. All life, in fact, is just happenstance. No one has any purpose, life has no meaning. In fact, people are no different than monkeys, dogs, or bugs. We’re just masses of cells that happened together by accident. There’s nothing important or significant about these creatures called “humans.” And government has been forcing everyone to accept that position for generations and simply will not allow anyone to be taught anything different.

3. For decades we have been teaching people that they are not responsible for their actions. After all, it’s not your fault — whatever “it” is. You don’t have to work — government will provide for you. You can be, think, and do anything you want — and government will protect you. There are no “wrong” thoughts at all — because if you have thoughts, even if they’re morally wrong, government will protect you and punish any who disagree with you.

4. Even if you DO do something wrong, you’re not going to be punished for it. After all, if you do something “wrong,” government will “fix” you. You can be rehabilitated, because after all, it’s not your fault. And while you’re being “rehabilitated,” you will NOT be punished. In fact, no matter how vile and disgusting your crime, the worst you can get is free room and board, cable tv, exercise, libraries — anything you want, basically — for the rest of your life.

So, based on what government has been teaching and forcing people to believe, can you think of any reason NOT to run around shooting whoever you want? Now I didn’t say based on your own moral standards, I said based on government standards. Heck, government LITERALLY won’t let you post a sign that says you shouldn’t kill in a government classroom. I would suggest that government is actually teaching our society to commit such acts as happened yesterday. Yes, I’m serious.

Maybe there’s a group of people who actually support life. Maybe there’s some who have values that include self-worth and responsibility. Perhaps there’s a group who actually believes that killing other people is wrong — and aren’t afraid to say so. Of course, if such a group existed, they would be strongly opposed by the government of America today.

Expect more of these shootings — because government encourages just such actions directly.

  1. Don’t forget how nice it is for insane criminal types to have such a large group of unarmed targets, thanks to government making it illegal for them to be able to defend themselves or stop the killings.

  2. They said he quit taking “his meds”. Funny thing, our parents and grandparents never had meds in the first place, and they didn’t find it necessary to murder innocent people because of it.
Great post Ogre and a good point on the comment ChrstnHsbndFthr. If one arms themselves against these things, they are considered criminals by government.

  3. Right, I didn’t even mention the target-rich environment — created by government.

And I’ve read now more about the “medications.” I’m dying to know if government is the one who prescribed him those medications. I’d bet yes.

  4. I was thinking that when I was reading your blog… I think you could turn some cash if someone were willing to be no… and that wouldn’t be me.

I think government is behind the over prescribing of the ritalin and poisoning children to “make them behave”.

  5. Government causes problems. That’s what it does. Name ANY problem that government has “solved” without creating ten more. It cannot be done. More government only creates more problems — every single time.

  6. But the evolutionists will say, again and again, that, in effect, the general population “misunderstands” Darwin’s theory. That devaluation of human life is a “twisted” version of Darwinism. And yet they have the cheek to claim that their theory/hypothesis explains everything. In that sense, it does. (*grievous gnashing of teeth*)

  7. Do as they say and do not think. You’re not smart enough to think. THAT is the mantra of the evolutionist scientist (and in general, all of government education).

    Thanks for stopping by, Hannah!
