Ban Chlorine Now!
Quickly! Someone get the crisis alarm! Raise the terror alert level to plaid! The end of the world is coming and we NEED government to save us! Didn’t you hear? There’s a Chlorine Crisis and we’re all going to die if government doesn’t save us! Ahhhhhh!
Sorry about that, folks, I was trying to be the media, just for a minute there.
The big news, after a long, expensive, government, undercover, investigation is that people are allowed to buy chlorine. Of course, any of you good readers who have a pool already knew that. Apparently the NYPD was completely and totally unaware of this fact until just now. Good thing we have the NYPD to find out such things for us, huh?
Now that we know that chlorine can be purchased by anyone, the NYPD is clearly making the case for banning all chlorine. You see, someone, somewhere, might use it and be a terrorist. As the government says, “We think the whole area needs a lot of regulation.” And they, of course, need YOUR money to do so. That whole concept of freedom is completely and totally lost on these bastards, isn’t it?

Yep, I’d say lost forever more.
I just don’t know that I’ll ever understand the mass amount of people who honestly don’t like freedom.
I think so many have grown up with welfare, food stamps, WIC, medicaid, etc, since the 1960s, they are stuck in the “entitlement mindset”. They really don’t understand something they have never had…. freedom. When our forefathers stated that we had the right to “self determination”, they meant freedom. But you mention that to many and it produces a blank stare! They simply doesn’t understand the connection with freedom.
Freedom today, is somehow associated with cash and irresponsibility. If I have cash, I’m free. If I’m not being held responsible for anything, I’m free. At least that’s what America is today.
