CMS: Protect Some, Not Others

If you peruse my category on education, you will find a common thread — that the government education system is a complete and total, utter failure. Well, if you think that the government system should actually educate, that is. If, however, you think the government education system exists to spend money and expand power, then it is a total success.

And the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school system continues to show that I’m right.

At this time, the school board (liberal Democrat because that’s what Mecklenburg County IS, whether you like it or not) is debating exactly who should be protected by government force — and who should not. They are considering “protecting” some selected groups of people, while NOT protecting others. Why? Because that helps them define their power.

No, it has nothing to do with education. No, it has nothing to do with learning. It has everything to do with government controlling thoughts and ideas. The Democrats on the school board want some ideas and thoughts to be protected (like gays) with government violence. And of course, the Democrats being Democrats cannot be honest about what they are doing, because they’d be opposed. Instead, they’re calling the “protection of some” act “anti-bullying.”

Your only hope for your children is to get them out of the government system. No, I don’t care that you can’t afford it. No, I don’t care that you don’t have any choice. You do have a choice, it’s just all about what matters to you. If you don’t want your child to have traditional values, by all means, throw them in the cesspool that is government education. But don’t expect them to learn anything else.
