Out of Energy?
Alan Caruba points out that we’re rapidly running out of energy. He certainly points out the obvious — that the greens are using their religion, not facts, and they’re slowly destroying this country. Of course, if the greens have their way, we will return to a time before the industrial age when we were all hunters and gatherers.
But what I’d like to point out will be the immediate effects of not having enough energy. If there’s limited energy (and Duke Power in NC just announced they’re not building any more coal plants), who do you think will go without first? Do you think the schools will reduce energy usage? No, because they “have” to be open “for the children.”
Do you think the welfare offices will reduce energy? No, because they “have” to be open to give money to people “for the children.”
How about Raleigh government offices — do you think they’ll reduce energy? No, because they “have” to meet to pass laws to “save” people from themselves.
So who do you think is going to get the shaft first? Just like with the water shortage crap, it’s not going to be government, and it’s not going to be businesses — it’s going to be the peasants. You and I, the working people who pay the salaries of the government bureaucrat bums, will be the first to go without electricity and power, mark my words. And again the divide between the “haves” (government) and the “have-nots” (working people) will continue to expand.
And no, electing Billary, Obama, or McCain will not slow or stop the government increase one bit.

Here in Northern Virginia, at least one article has appeared in the WaPo regarding how we’re running out of energy. Much of the blame was placed on the McMansions, inhabited by and large by liberals. Apparently, the McMansions are wasting energy. Only a mental midget wouldn’t have known that in the first place. All those windows!
Of course, the article didn’t mention all the public school buses, running all over the place and at all sorts of hours so as to accommodate extracurricular activities.
And add to this the “new” news that the Hoover Dam may run dry — look, ma, it’s a new crisis! Don’t worry, government can save us!
And true, AOW, government will never reduce their need for energy. We’re to simply accept that they need the energy, no matter what.
