Then There Were Three

Three Candidates

Look, the fat lady a’int singin’ yet. Sure, she’s out of the dressing room. She’s done her stretching exercises. And she’s even singing the scales and warming up her voice. But she hasn’t started singing yet. It’s not over. And contrary to what the media tells you, there’s still THREE candidates left in this race!

Anyone want to compare Ron Paul to John McCain? I’ve already compared McCain to BillaryBama. But how about Paul and McCain? No one can find a candidate with which they agree 100% — but I think most conservatives, indeed, most Republicans, will find they agree with more of Paul’s positions than McCain’s. Really.

You’ve heard claims that Paul’s racist? That’s not true, and he’s denied those claims for years. McCain is racist against white people — he wants to give more cash and more free things to Mexicans and other non-white citizens than taxpayers. So who’s racist?

The “big” issue is the “war on terror.” McCain’s position is to have US troops and permanent bases in Iraq “for 100 years.” Ron Paul agrees with Bush — we won the war, now let’s come home. Keep in mind — Ogre’s no smelly hippie. Ogre’s a Marine. And know who active duty military members have donated the most cash to? You guessed it, Ron Paul.

Ron will work to fix the borders and won’t give amnesty. McCain loves amnesty (but won’t call it that).

McCain votes against tax cuts — Paul would get rid of the IRS.

McCain won’t sign bills with earmarks (but I’m betting just as much spending will go on, they just won’t call it “earmarks”). Ron Paul won’t sign bills that spend money that’s not authorized in the Constitution.

And hey, what about November? Can McCain beat BillaryBama? The leftists have their candidate. McCain is the candidate of the moderate. Will conservatives even vote?

No matter what you hear — this election is not quite done. Support Ron Paul now so you actually have a choice come November.

  1. Honestly, I don’t think Paul has a chance in hell of getting the nomination. He’s so far behind, it woudl take a miracle for him to catch up.

  2. Oh… I am soooo glad you aren’t a smelly hippie Ogre!

I wouldn’t try to hard comparing Paul to McCain, as you have already done the comparison… when you compared Paul to BillaryBama.

  3. Hey Contagion? Remember about 6 months ago — Guiliani was THE candidate. NO ONE could beat him. Anyone else running was just wasting their time.

Sure, he’s got a long way to go, but with McCain leading, Paul is the best choice. I know my state still hasn’t voted, and I’m working to get people to vote for Paul here!

  4. Yes, but that was before the Primaries started. With over half the states already having voted (including my own) and Paul being so far behind, I highly doubt he’ll overcome his deficit. It’s not mathmatically impossible, but it is mathmatically improbable.

And to be honest, I’m not sure I want to try backing another horse in this race filled with losers.

  5. Well, since your state already voted, you don’t count any more. ;) (I’m kidding!)

But seriously, if Paul starts winning now, McCain CAN be beat. In fact, if you’re just looking for anything but McCain, Paul is the one to support — if Paul gets enough votes now, then McCain doesn’t get the nomination and the convention becomes a total free-for-all! Mass chaos! Yay, chaos!

Be sure to drop by Monday — I’m working on some side-by-side comparisons of Paul and Jose McCain.

  6. OK… had Ron Paul officially dropped out??? Since our vote is on computer, I wonder how badly I’d mess with these people if I requested a write in ballot????

  7. Nope, Ron Paul is still in!
