NC Lt. Governor

Will there be another entrant into the race for Lt. Governor in North Carolina? There are already a number of Republicans lined up to run for the big one (governor), but a commenter here claiming to be Timothy Cook (no offense intended, Mr. Cook, if that was you, I just can’t know for sure) says that one Timothy Cook may be lining up to run for Lt. Governor.

Keep in mind the filing deadline is still quite a ways away…

Of course, Robert Pittenger has been running for Lt. Governor now for more than a couple months and has already lined up support from “big name” (to me) Republicans like Patrick Ballantine.   2. Fred Smith has been running and running big. I like some things about him, but I’m still looking — I’ve had a few people mention some really nasty lawyerly connections that I’m looking in to…
