Sex offender charged with child rape

A Monroe man registered in North Carolina as a sex offender has been charged with raping a 3-year-old girl, police said.
Douglas Wayne Parsons, 43, was arrested Saturday and charged with one count each of first-degree rape of a child, first-degree sex offense on a child, and taking indecent liberties with a child, according to the arrest report.
The incident is alleged to have occurred at the house of one of the girl’s relatives, with whom Parsons had been acquainted, Union County Sheriff’s Capt. Mike Easley said.
In 2003, Parsons was convicted of taking indecent liberties with a minor in Union County, according to the N.C. Sex Offenders Registry Web site.
Parsons is in Union County jail on $500,000 secured bond. His first court date is March 5.

Personally, if that were my baby, that man would not live to see his day in court! I am a firm believer that kind of sick, heinous act again a small child should be a Capitol Offense. I hope you all get Jessica’s Law in place, as I know it helps parents protect their children.
I just have a very “unchristian” attitude toward any sicko freak who would do something like this.
Did you read the article from England recently where an ex-boxer found a man half-naked with the ex-boxer’s 8-year old son? The ex-boxer killed him. Now that’s justice.
That’s the kind of justice our Grandparents believed in and everyone was much safer in those days!
Not only were people more safe, there was MUCH less crime because criminals feared what would happen to them.
