Sharpton in Charlotte

Al Sharpton, nationally-known orator, racist, and fool, was in Charlotte yesterday. Why? Because he makes his living fleecing people and whining a lot. 700 people showed up yesterday to hear his hate speech. But it’s a free country, so unlike liberals (Democrats, Socialists, Republicans, the ACLU), Ogre says to just let him talk.

Now the Ogre didn’t get a chance to see Al. Instead, he had something more pressing and exciting to do (he was washing his hair). But afterwards, Ogre did manage to get an exclusive interview with Reverend Al (Sharpton, not Bundy).

Ogre: Well hello, Al. How are you this evening?

Al: Arrrgh! Unfair!

Ogre: Yes. Well then. So you’re here to support Nick Mackey for Sheriff of Mecklenburg County, is that right?

Al: Yes! You must acquit! Err.. I mean, he’s the man for the job!

Ogre: Indeed. And can you tell me why he should be Sheriff?

Al: Because he’s black.

Ogre: Excuse me?

Al: He’s black. It’s unfair if you change the rules now.

Ogre: Let’s move on. You say the election was fair. What do you have to say about allegations that when the Democrats secretly voted for Nick Mackey (and refuse to release publicly the results), those with black skin got 10 votes, while those with white skin each only got one vote?

Al: That sounds fair to me.

Ogre: You think it’s okay for people to get their votes counted differently based only on the color of their skin?

Al: As long as the black folks get more votes, then it’s fair.

Ogre: Indeed. But you think Nick Mackey is qualified for the job of Sheriff. What about the fact that he cannot get a bond from a bonding agency because of his questionable past? I realize that he claims he has a bond, but he hasn’t shown it to anyone, nor told anyone who issued the bond. Does that bring into question his ability to be Sheriff?

Al: No. He’s black.

Ogre: It appears that Nick Mackey violated election law by living in one county while voting in another. Do you still think he should be Sheriff?

Al: Yes, because he’s black.

Ogre: And he may have been fired from the police force for misconduct — he refuses to let anyone see his personnel records — is that a problem for someone who would be sheriff?

Al: If they were white, maybe. But Nick Mackey is black, so it doesn’t matter.

Ogre: Nick Mackey took out a large number of loans, then quickly declared bankruptcy, showing he is clearly irresponsible with money. Should we trust him, as Sheriff, will millions of taxpayer dollars?

Al: Yes. He’s black, so that’s okay, too.

Ogre: Is there anything at all that may have happened or could happen that would ever make you not support Mackey?

Al: No. He’s black.

Ogre: Thank you, Alvin.

Well, there you have it. I think that’s pretty clear. After all, if we can elect a convicted drug dealer mayor of Washington, why not have a clearly questionable character for Sheriff of Mecklenburg? After all, he’s black, you know.

  1. LOL!!! Very nice and accurate interview there Ogre!!!

  2. Ouch. Sounds like you guys got a raw deal for sheriff.

  3. Ogre, thanks, I needed a laugh and your needling of Sharp-ton did the trick.

  4. I wish it were funnier — but all the questions I asked are serious, and the black Democrats honestly do not care one whit.
