And Yet More Katrina Whining
The Bush-created weather event known as “Hurricane Katrina” continue to produce even more whiny victims. Oh, and in case you forgot, it’s been over TWO YEARS since the hurricane. And yes, people are STILL living off the government teat, blaming the hurricane instead of their own lazy, whiny rear ends. Now they’re actually complaining that the air in the free trailers that I’ve been paying for for over two years is unhealthy. And it’s apparently not one or two lazy, miserable, bums — it’s thousands!
And the bottom feeders (aka “lawyers”) for these lazy bastards is actually claiming it’s a “national public health emergency!” Hey, scum-suckers, how about the bums get a damn job! It’s been TWO YEARS. Why in the world am *I* paying for this crap? There is no reason anyone can give for still living in these trailers for two entire years. I know of what I speak, for at one time in my life, I had no job, no house, and literally just the bag of stuff I carried with me. It took me less than six months to get a job and get a place to stay.
48,000 trailers still out there. I’m guessing that’s at least 96,000 people that are lazy people who have spent two years sitting on their rear ends waiting for government to provide for them. These people should absolutely be ashamed of themselves. Worse, the government bureaucrats who have provided them a place on MY dime should be ashamed of themselves. Any Congressman who voted to take my money and give them a place to stay for free should be ashamed of themselves, too. But I’m betting that not one of these selfish, greedy, miserable bums feels guilty at all for taking my money to support these scum. And that truly is shameful.

When I was standing in honor of one of Indiana’s fallen the summer before last, I was talking to a military Vet and construction contractor who told me that he went south after Katrina hit, took building materials and a small crew and spent first a month in Mississippi helping people there.
He said the people were great, came out and helped and saw to it he and his crew were fed and had a dry place to sleep and they accomplished a lot and walked away feeling great about how they spent their time and resources… then they went to New Orleans, LA. The only time people there came out was to complain that they weren’t doing enough or weren’t doing things to suit them, and after 2 or 3 days of that, he wanted to pack up and go back to Mississippi! He said he never saw a lazier more ungrateful group of people in his life! In MS, he said people came to him and told them they wanted to help clear the streets and he gave em the tools and they went and did it! In NOLA, they came out and wanted to know why the streets were still impassable but did nothing to help. No wonder two years later they are still where they are. They are a bunch of entitlement ho’s!
I wish more people would see New Orleans for what it is — a true example of complete and total failure of socialism and today’s Democrat liberalism.
