Socialist Progress

As I predicted when Chavez came to power. He continues to work hard to kill people. That’s “progress” when you’re in a socialist regime. In fact, that’s “progressive.” But hey, we can’t have those farmers actually selling the crops they grew and actually earning enough money to eat! That’s just not fair!
As the Democrats might say: if some people are going to starve, then everyone will starve, and anyone who tries to NOT starve will be crushed.

We’re well on our way. Of course, things will be different when we do it because the Muslims will be in charge.
Socialists and Islamists are either headed for a blood bath or continued defeat at the hands of Democracy.
1. If the Islamists and their Socialist allies beat Democracy they will be at each other’s throats.
2. If Democracy continues to win, as we always have, we will just have more of the same. Islamists and Socialists will still need each other to make up for the vast deficiencies that they suffer from.
In any case, Democracy will always be vulnerable to the evolutionary weak links of the Socialist persuasion, but in the end we are stronger for our ability to coerce them to cooperate democratically rather than the usual leftwing path to power. Look at our Democratic Party dominated Congress. As far as legislation goes they haven’t differed at all with the Republican-led Congress. The best they can do is legislate the food served in the Congressional cafeteria. That is the limit of the Democrat’s legislative power.
In our society this dynamic is even more profound. Socialism gets completely corrupted by Capitalism. I hear that CaféPress has some new Che T-Shirts. I cant wait to purchase a couple!

Islamists and Socialists have no common ground besides hatred of the U.S., they are as much allies as the U.S. and Soviet Union were during WWII. After their enemy is gone conflict between the two is inevitable just like the Cold War was. Only this conflict will be much worse than anything we have ever seen in human history. These are two foes that have no accountability to their own people or to the international community. Their totalitarianism will see to that.
So as an example take a look at the failure of the Iranian conference, ‘Che like Chamran’.
It was Iran’s commemoration of the 40th anniversary of Ernesto Che Guevara’s death and was geared towards improving relations between leftists and Iran. The premise was that the Islamic revolution and the socialist revolution in Cuba were similar struggles against imperialism.
Anyone with a sense of history knows that the Socialists of Iran were allied with the Islamists during the revolution, but the Islamists seized all the power for themselves and executed their comrades.
Needless to say the conference went down in flames and Che’s relatives who were invited to the event were whisked away for their own safety and sent home.

Good points. I suppose once freedom and capitalism were eliminated, those two would do some seriously fighting. It would be very odd to observe — the two ideologies would actually be fighting to see who would be in power so they could kill more people.
