So, ever wonder what your glorious North Carolina government is doing with their billions of dollars of taxpayer money in their budget? Here’s one thing: creating laws banning golf carts, enforcing the laws, then “ignoring the laws.” Aren’t you glad you have government to protect you from renegade golf carts. Because after all, if we didn’t have government creating laws banning golf carts, why golf carts might take over the world and kill people. But since we’re ignoring those laws (and not repealing them), then the golf carts won’t take over the world and kill people.

No, it doesn’t make any sense, but that is your North Carolina government, hard at work for you, complaining that they simply don’t have enough money yet to “do their job.”
