Anti-Abortion? Go To Jail.
No, not in China or any Muslim Middle Eastern country. In America. In Iowa. Yes, according to the government there, you can literally be jailed for opposing abortion (unless, for now, you keep your big mouth shut). Just ask Donna Holman about it. Well, after she’s released from jail, that is.
You see, Mrs. Holman opposes abortion. She decided one day to stand on public property, a sidewalk, and tell people who were considering abortion that they have alternatives. For that she was arrested. She was arrested for yelling and being disruptive. There were zero eyewitnesses in court that showed up to testify. No matter, she was found guilty.
It’s not completely unreasonable, if someone is indeed yelling loud enough to be heard inside a building, to have them arrested for disturbing the peace. But this judge, again, with ZERO evidence and NO witnesses, declared her guilty and demanded she accept psychotropic medicine from the state. Yes, you read that right. Since the judge apparently thinks that anyone who opposes abortion is “mentally disturbed,” she, with the state enforcing her power, wants to force people who oppose abortion to be medicated.
Wow.
Mrs. Holman refused the forced medication and therefore was thrown in jail for a month. That’s right — oppose abortion in Iowa and either take government medication or go to jail for a month. Go ahead, tell me about how much freedom we have in America today.

Ogre, have you seen where the government in the UK has decided that since they have socialized medicine, it is perfectly OK to allow doctors to harvest your organs if you are dying, and do so without you or your loved one’s permission. Socialized medicine seems to mean… “The government owns your body”.

Yikes…isn’t this sort of stuff going to fall under potential HATE CRIME legislation too?
What about free speech rights? Thought we had that…?? It’s only free if it doesn’t offend someone. And since, in this case there were no witnesses one way or the other, no one was offended.

No, this isn’t “hate” speech because it’s not PC. I mean, wait, it IS “hate” speech, so it has to be stopped — with all the resources of government, like forced medication. Because the fuhrer is right, and you are wrong. I mean, because these people aren’t safe.
