Get Out Of Our House!
So, have you heard about GOOOH? It’s:
GOOOH stands for ‘Get Out of Our House’ and is pronounced like the word ‘go’. It is a NON-PARTISAN plan to evict the 435 career politicians in the U.S. House of Representatives and replace them with everyday Americans just like you.
Sounds neat, eh? I don’t think there’s any chance of it working — there’s too many party “workers” that will work hard to retain the two-party system. As Ron Paul’s candidacy shows, anyone who tried to actually make any changes to the current system will be shut out of the system quickly. I imagine this effort will hit the same wall.
Of course, being the eternal optimist I am, I’m going to give it a shot. Heck, I’m going to sign up, donate some cash, and agree to run on the GOOOH ticket. Why not?

Great concept! If the entire Ron Paul organization would do what you just did, we could have 435 Ron Paul soldiers on the ballot in November.
The media and party can keep one person off the presidential ticket, but I don’t see how they could keep 435 independent patriots locked out in the same way? I’m in too.
The odds are long, but imagine if Ron Paul were to publicly endorse the plan?

I see the biggest obstacle to this being ballot access. Each state party that’s in control (Dems or Reps) would work hard to ensure this didn’t happen. They’d claim that you’re not allowed on the ballot because of laws they passed. Heck, in NC, it’s actually against the law to run under any party other than Rep or Dem.
So I don’t think it will work, but that won’t stop me from trying!
