Want $2000? There’s an essay contest regarding “rights” where that’s the first place prize. Oh, well, you do have to be in high school. Maybe you know someone who is in high school who is interested. And since it’s about “rights,” you can bet home school students can enter as well.

It has possibilities, but these days the kids — including, sad to say, a fair number of homeschoolers — tend to think anything they “need” is a “right.” Worse yet, they tend to think anything they want is a “need.”
…which is why this contest is so cool!
