Ezra: Fighting Thought Police

Whew. Ezra Levant really ripper her a new one. Amazing.

That link above links to a page where there are a number of clips of a Canadian government “interview” where a publisher is being “interviewed” by the government who is “investigating” his using the freedom of the press. The government is trying to decide how severely to punish him for publishing the “offensive” Mohamed cartoons. If you’ve got some time, listen to those clips. He really lets that government slimeball have it. I was cheering throughout every one of his responses.

It’s amazing, sad, and terrifying that you have to defend yourself from government for expressing freedom of the press. This is “human rights” in Canada today.

  1. They socialize medicine and freedoms soon start to disappear… or try anyway!

  2. This one is truly thought police. He’s being prosecuted for saying that gay is wrong. That’s literally illegal in Canada — and in Philadelphia (you get arrested for it).
