NC Dropout Rate Double Talk

Here is what you get with over-sized, Democrat-led, freedom-hating government in North Carolina:

“One size in education does not absolutely fit all and what works in one community does not work in another community.”

Rep. Earline Parmon, D-Forsyth

“maybe we can model what’s going to be beneficial to all students in the state of North Carolina.”

Rep. Earline Parmon, D-Forsyth

In other words, here is one legislator saying in the SAME breath that there’s no possible way that the state can make ANY education system work across the entire state because every community is different — and then immediately following that statement up with, “Well, we’re going to make it all the same, anyway.” Only Democrats in government can truly say things that like and be serious about it. They honestly don’t care.

The education system is designed for control and money, that’s it. Since the “big news” is about the high drop-out rate of North Carolina students, can you bet what the solution will be? Since Democrats are running the state government (and have for over 100 years), I already know the answer. But don’t worry, we’ll spend a few million on “study commissions.” Then they will conclude that if we’d just spend “a little more” money, all education problems will be solved.

Oh, they might decide that they should require students to be in school for 20 years. They might decide that they should continue to increase punishments for students who drop out. But in the end, rest assured, their solution will be to create yet another program that spends MORE money (that they will take from working people) that will have absolutely ZERO results. That’s how education works. Seriously. Government education is about controlling people and spending money. Anything else they say (like “helping kids”) is just plain lies.
