Tea Party ‘07

A quick reminder — tomorrow is Tea Party ‘07. This is about freedom. This is about high taxes. This is about sending a BIG message to politicians everywhere. Even if you’d never vote for him, please do consider donating to Ron Paul tomorrow. If you’ve got even just a spare $20, sending that to him tomorrow will let every politician in the country know that you want freedom and you want lower taxes. Send that message tomorrow, please.

If he gets an average of about $35 from everyone who has pledged to donate on that site, he will achieve his goal of $12 Million about two weeks ahead of schedule!
I’m not planning to donate, but I will watch his site and make a final decision once I see how things are going for him. I did post something on my blog too, and I hope it helps.
I’m seeing him at $11.5 million now, at about 10pm EST. I’m hoping he gets about $6 million tomorrow. I’m sure he’ll reach his goal of $12 million.
That would be awesome!! T’would be nice if he could break all the single-day fund raising records. $6M would get him close, I think Hillary has the record with <$6M.
Well, over twice as many people signed up for this event than signed up for the last one that raised the $4.3 mil!
Just after 9am and he’s already up over a million and a half dollars…
He’s going to do quite well today!
I am really pulling for hitting $17 or $18 million total today.
Just short of 2pm EST and he’s collected $3 million; total: $14.4 mil.
4:40PM EST and just a hair shy of $3.75 Million!
At this rate, he should at least get more than the $4.3 million record his campaign set earlier.
I still think this is SO interesting because it’s just people. It’s not the campaign, it’s not pay-for-access. It’s just a lot of people that like freedom.
Yep. I’d like to see someone else try that. Hillary can’t get people to just show up and donate like that. Neither can Huckabee, Romney, McCain, or Giuliani. In fact, Hillary tends to like to strong-arm people into giving - not exactly the hallmark of a candidate that is championing freedom.
With 4 hours to go, he’s raised about $4.75 Million and reached a total of $16.25 Million. If the trend continues, your $17M is a very realistic number.
Wow. Just wow. This morning it’s over $18.1 million. I’m pretty sure he went over $6 million for the day. That’s the most, ever, by anyone.
