Democrat 2009 Priorities
I know many people are waiting on the edge of their seat for the new savior of the world, Obama, to start implementing his plans for “change.” In fact, I bet a lot are clamoring for Obama to take over before his coronation. But just be sure you understand what’s important to Obama.
He wants to increase government spending by a few hundred billion dollars — and he’s swearing he’s not going to raise taxes at all. He wants to have a new New Deal program and directly hire over 2 million people to work for the US government. He also wants to give away hundreds of billions in cash to people, calling this new welfare program a “stimulus.”
But wait, there’s more! The Democrats will ensure that as Obama is stepping down from the royal coronation platform in January, they will have new bills for him to sign! He will spend even more, in addition to the hundreds of billions described above! Yes, the new savior will provide universal health care overnight to everyone who “needs” it. And even more, he will make Christopher Reeves walk again and save everyone because he’s spend even MORE billions on killing babies with government money so they can research on embryonic stem cells (which has resulted in, well, absolutely no help to anyone, anywhere, in any medical manner).
Just so you people who voted for Obama understand what he’s really going to do now. Many of us who actually researched the candidates already knew long ago.

Even now, that the “Chickens of Change” coming home to roost, I suspect that we will hear the sounds of Far Left denial travelling across America on the winds of “Change”.
You can be sure they will blame Bush and Republicans for at least the next four years. Watch for the catch phrase, “undo Republican/Bush politics.” I predict you will see it a lot.
There is some howling from the left…more than a few are quite upset with teh Messiah for breaking promises he conveniently cannot keep…no matter- he is still planning to spend so much money it will have to grow off of trees because it just doesn’t exist elsewhere.
They’ll just print more, after all they have a literal monopoly on printing money in the US — if you try and compete, you go to jail quickly. And just ask Zimbabwe how well it works to just print more money.
The real economic morons are poised to finish off our economy!
And there’s no one to stop them, sadly.

And that’s true, we should expect that from them, but only if in undoing all those policies, they don’t get us all killed by having undone all those policies anti-terrorit policies that have kept us safe the last seven years. In that case they’ll simply rely on historical revisionism like they did with ‘the wall’ and Jamie Gorelick. Revisionism is, after all, their chief backup plan when the truth is “inconvenient”. It’s worked wonders for the economic failures of Barney Frank , Reid Pelosi, and their ilk …… and now they get to “fix” the problems they’ve created.
Oh yes, the past simply does not exist for these people. That’s how socialists and liberals (one and the same today) do what they do — they simply ignore the past and their failures. Or, as you point out, they simply claim a past that fits their lies and agenda.
