Ogre’s Return
Okay, for the one of you who has been anxiously awaiting my return, here I am.
Well, not really. Actually, I’m writing this post back in October. IF everything has gone according to plan, I did arrive home, back in North Carolina, last night. I’m not quite sure how the jet lag will be affecting me, nor will I have any idea what my mindset will be right now. No, I don’t think the election results will bother me one bit right now. I still say there’s little difference between McCain and Obama, so it doesn’t really matter which one won.
Instead, I will have just returned from 2 weeks in a really poor country, and from helping actually poor people (not people who claim to be poor in this country who have two cars, 3 cell phones, and more food than they can eat). I also won’t have seen nor have had any contact with my family for two weeks.
So I have no idea what I’ll be thinking or how I’ll be feeling. I might erase this post before it posts — or I might not post again for a little while. But we’ll see. Do check back, as I’m sure I’ll end up posting something, eventually (if I haven’t completely forgotten all my passwords…)
