Stop the Bailout!

I’m not sure that any on-online petitions have any effect. And certainly in this case, the Congress is more interested in their contributors than in the people of America (taxpayers), so as far as I’m concerned, the bailout is a completely done deal. But in case it’s not, I’ve written all my representatives in Washington, and here’s a petition to Stop the Bailout if you’re so inclined.

Thanks. All the rich people in Washington (Congressmen) and their rich pals on Wall Street are working hard to CRAM this bailout down our throats.
I think we did about as well as we could on the bailout, thanks to the House Repbulicans and things like this petition. Thanks for spreading the word.
It still seriously blows goats and the taxpayer STILL gets screwed, no matter how much they lie and claim the taxpayer isn’t footing the bill. It might be better than it was, but that’s like saying your tax bill is increased by $2000 this month instead of $1500.
