Cost of the Bailout

Cost of Bailing out Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac: $25,000,000,000.00 + $6,000,000,000,000.00 in (worthless) assets.
Cost of Bailing out AIG: $85,000,000,000.00
Cost of Bailing Out GM, Ford, and Chyrsler: $25,000,000,000.00
Cost of Bailing Out other world markets: $30,000,000,000.00
Cost of Bailing out tons of other big businesses: $700,000,000,000.00

Total cost so far to the US Taxpayer to bailout crappy businessmen: $6,865,000,000,000.00

Cost to the taxpayer PER YEAR to JUST pay the interest on that debt: $2,259.00 EACH. That’s over $2,000 that each and every taxpayer will have to pay every year, forever, just to pay the interest on that new debt.

Yes, that’s over $10 TRILLION dollars of debt that will be placed upon your children to support greedy irresponsible companies.

Hope that this foolish action by the government may change people and wake people up and start a real revolution for freedom and against the oppressive government of America today: Priceless.

  1. The bailout is hideous.

And, actually, “bailout” should be plural.

  2. It is a disaster in the making! What part of RISKY INVESTMENT don’t people understand?
Don’t risk more than you can afford to lose…thank you, AOW!

  3. Risk is now literally forbidden in America. You are NOT allowed to fail, so sayeth government. Yet another freedom completely gone.

  4. Dear Ogre (GREAT name!)

This does it. The goddamn politicians, lawyers, and equally greedy, crooked bankers, etc. deserve to die a slow, tortuous death for what they have done to the American people in order to line their own pockets and retirement funds. All of ‘em need to be jailed and be relieved of all of the millions of dollars stolen from us and hidden away. After that, let ‘em live on the streets.

Good thing I have my own fax machine. Most of the state crooks are Democrats and I am going to shoot to kill verbally.

  5. Thanks, Cassandra. Know what? I can’t disagree with you. These evening I’m reading the now 110-page pile of crap that is the bailout. It’s bad. I mean, REALLY bad. But I’d bet a LOT of money that it passes — because it gives enough bribes to enough people (NOT taxpayers) to get by. It’s complete and total BS, COMPLETELY the opposite of freedom, but that’s America today.
